This manual examines the theoretical and methodological principles of combat horting as a means of physical education and health improvement of children, youth and adults, the importance of systematic combat horting classes, components of a healthy human lifestyle, features of teaching combat horting in educational institutions. Based on the results of scientific research, recommendations are provided for the introduction of health-preserving technologies of combat horting as a national professional and applied sport of Ukraine into the educational process in the disciplines "Combat horting", "Physical education", "Methodology of teaching combat horting", "Physical culture", "Defense of Ukraine", "Improving sportsmanship in combat horting", "Theory and methodology of combat horting" in higher education institutions.
The publication provides recommendations for conducting classes, a description of preparatory, training, general developmental, special and health-improving exercises, games, elements of basic technique, tactical training, as well as methodological advice on educational work with schoolchildren and students based on the sports, combat, cultural and health-improving traditions of the Ukrainian people.
The manual is addressed to teachers, teachers of general secondary education, teachers of physical education, leaders of sports sections and clubs of national professional and applied sport of Ukraine combat horting, based on the combat, cultural and health traditions of the Ukrainian people.
