Eduard Yeromenko participated in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ways of Improving Professional Competencies of Specialists in Today's Conditions", which was held by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine
This international conference was also attended by some scientists from different European countries.
Dr. Eduard Yeromenko represented the United States of America.
The organizers of the Conference were: State Scientific Institution “Institute for Modernization of Educational Content” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; Institute of Educational Problems of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine; State Institution “Agency of Mass Sports of Ukraine”; Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture; Khmelnytskyi National University; Lesia Ukrainka Volyn National University; Jan Dlugosz University of Natural Sciences and Humanities (Czestochowa, Poland); Public Organization “All-Ukrainian Public Association “National and Civic Identity”; Public Organization “Agency for Sustainable Development and Educational Initiatives”.
The purpose of the Conference is to create a single space for professional interaction and exchange of experience regarding the formation of key competencies of specialists in various educational fields, the implementation of innovative STEM approaches, the implementation of the requirements of state education standards, and the development of strategies for national-patriotic and military-applied education in conditions of martial law and the digital transformation of society.
The main areas of work of the Conference: 1. Implementation of State Standards and development of professional competencies in the context of educational branches. 2. Psychological and pedagogical aspects and the mental component of personal and professional growth. 3. Innovative vectors of professional development: STEM technologies, digitalization and high-tech systems. 4. Physical culture and health-saving technologies in the context of sustainable development. 5. National identity and security: patriotic education and military and vocational training. 6. International cooperation and global strategies for improving specialists.

Topic of the report by a scientist from the United States of America: «Strategy for the development of the sport of horting in American science and its popularization in sports and recreation institutions and educational institutions in the United States of America».
The topic of Eduard Yeromenko's report concerned the disclosure of such issues:
1. On the establishment in the United States of America of the working office of the World Horting Federation — an organization whose goal is to develop the sport of horting in the World, to hold World Championships, World Cups, international horting competitions of category A and other sporting events.
2. Management of the process of developing the sport from the United States.
3. Development of horting in the American education system, introduction of educational methods in US educational institutions.
4. Development of programs to improve the health of people in American society through the use of physical education and sports technologies.
5. Presentation of the advanced scientific experience of the United States on the world stage as the experience of an advanced state that has the resources to develop and popularize a healthy lifestyle around the world.
6. Establishment of cooperation between American educators and conference participants from different countries.
7. Establishment of Continental and National Horting Federations in the World, which will be part of the World Horting Federation, which has a working office in the United States.
8. Compliance with the provisions of the legislation of the United States of America and the State of New Jersey during the activities of the working office of the World Horting Federation in the State of New Jersey (USA).
9. Conducting educational and training seminars and health camps for children and youth in the State of New Jersey.
10. Publication of scientific articles in professional publications in the USA in the field of pedagogy, psychology, physical education, physical therapy, health improvement of children and the younger generation, as well as the introduction of health technologies in American society to improve the general health of adults and the elderly.
11. Interaction of the working office of the World Horticulture Federation with the state bodies of America in the field of physical education and promotion of the development of the American scientific base through the establishment of new periodicals on sports topics.
12. Approval of cooperation agreements with organizations, universities, scientific institutions represented by conference participants from other countries. Selection of issues from the report of Dr. Eduard Yeromenko (Newark, New Jersey, USA) at the International Conference on May 14, 2026.
As a result of the work, plans were outlined to promote the further development of the sport of horticulture in countries around the world, the interaction of government agencies and public organizations, from which representatives of educational institutions participated in the international conference. A positive example from the United States of America for others countries in the development of the system of improving people's health through physical education and sports, and attracting young people to classes in sports halls was noted.
The goal of Dr. Eduard Yeromenko to participate in this international scientific event, as a worthy representation of American science in the physical education sector, was achieved. Further steps are planned to develop physical education and health technologies and implement them in the system of universities in the United States of America.
