Sports equipment and a place for horting
I. Equipment and training equipment of the horting gym
The main place for conducting combat horting classes is a sports hall. At the stage of studying the basic combat horting techniques, punches and kicks, blocks, grabs, turns for throws, classes in special and general physical training, training can be conducted on the floor of a sports hall without a soft covering. However, when studying throws and working on the ground, it is mandatory to use a hort (combat horting area), a wrestling mat that allows you to absorb body blows, or gymnastic mats covered with a tire, which are used in physical education classes at school. If there is a sports hall with a soft covering in the premises, then horting classes are best conducted in such a hall, covered with a soft covering.
The use of equipment and training equipment of the horting sports hall is aimed at more effective improvement of the horting technique and tactics, which combines elements of throwing techniques, where the reliability of the grip plays an important role, as well as the widest arsenal of elements of striking techniques with hands and feet, where the main role is played by the strength and speed of the blow. To achieve this goal, special tools and general developmental means are used in the horting training process, where athletes must systematically practice strikes and throws on special shells and dummies, which help to purposefully develop the necessary physical qualities, learn and improve technical techniques. Special equipment, training equipment and individual equipment allow the athlete to make the most of the opportunities for training in horting.
The complete list of equipment and individual gear required for conducting combat horting training activities includes five mandatory categories of equipment:
1. Specialized equipment and inventory of the horting gym for specialized exercises;
2. Shared equipment for general developmental exercises;
3. Individual training and hygiene equipment of the athlete;

II. Specialized equipment and inventory of the combat horting sports hall for specialized exercises (special inventory for approximately 10-12 people)
Specialized equipment for a horting gym
1. Greyhound (training, competition area)
The greyhound for training is a soft covering for conducting training duels with the use of wrestling throws and strikes in the rack and on the floor. The sufficient size of the greyhound training ground is 8x8 meters, 4 cm thick, the competition ground is 10x10 meters, at least 2.5 cm thick. The greyhound can be made of gymnastic mats 5 cm thick and covered with a dense cover tucked under the edges of the mats.
Training hounds of horting gyms can be equipped with various materials, sufficient for cushioning when performing throws from the rack to the floor.
The greyhound option can consist of an array of cushioning mats with a thickness of 5 cm and a tricolor tire made of PVC fabric, made by the method of thermal welding of seams. The tire is attached to the array of mats with the help of contact textile tape. Carpets for horting and fighting can be equipped with mats made of secondary foam foam, doubled (glued) with jute fabric, and hounds can be equipped with foam polyethylene mats, consisting of light moisture-resistant polyethylene foam mats with a thickness of 5 cm and tires made of PVC fabric. In the large sports hall of horting, the horting can be 12x12 meters long, and it can be made of chemically foamed polyethylene foam /KBP/ or chemically cross-linked foamed polyethylene.
The horting gym and the "hort" playground must meet hygienic requirements, be constantly wiped with rags, ventilated, and if necessary, removed and neatly folded and stored.
General exercises, preparatory exercises, and muscle strength training can be done almost anywhere.
Special training of the athlete and preparation for the competition are impossible without a suitable greyhound.
The original Ukrainian greyhound is a 10x10 meter square mat made of square mats of standard size 1x1 meter, 4 cm thick, very dense. Modern types of greyhounds are made of artificial materials (rubber), they are flexible and dense.
The size of the site is determined depending on the size of the hall. The minimum size of the greyhound in the sports hall is 4x5 meters. There must be a square greyhound at the competition. If the horting section is just starting to form and develop, and does not yet have a standard hort at its disposal, in this case, you can start training in improvised conditions (gymnastic mats are used) of the sports hall. Separate preparatory exercises can be practiced both on a separate mat and on the floor.
The greyhound consists of a sheet of secondary foam foam, the top of the solid foam is glued with a banner fabric, the bottom is not glued, or it is glued with jute fabric, or even better - with an anti-slip "anti-slip" fabric. Greyhound density can vary in the following ranges: 140, 160, 180, 200 g/cm.
The most durable and functional greyhound consists of a sheet of secondary foam foam, the top of the hard foam is glued with a thick corrugated banner fabric, the bottom - the upper and lower cover are hermetically connected to each other with a thermal seam.
The hound can be made of squares with even edges, or it can be completed with squares with puzzles on the edges. Such squares are connected to each other according to the principle of puzzles, are made of light foamed polyethylene, and are easily assembled into a complete greyhound.
Sheets of such greyhound are made with a thickness of 2.5 cm, 4 cm square size 1x1 meter. "Dovetail Greyhound". They can be blue, red or yellow.
Also, options for the manufacture of hounds can be made of sports hounding fabric (Ukraine), material - anti-slip (bottom surface), filling - foam polyethylene, size - 1 m x 2 m, different colors, depending on the customer's wishes.
The Ukrainian branded Hort is made of modern high-quality materials, produced specifically for the sports industry. Greyhound filler - foam polyethylene sheets of different hardness, upper fabric - special fabric "Reflena sports", the bottom of the greyhound has an anti-slip coating.
The industry produces two types of greyhounds: competitive and training. The use of layers of polyethylene foam of different density allows to achieve a uniform distribution of dynamic load when the athlete falls on the greyhound. The use of an anti-slip coating allows you to avoid the "creeping" of greyhound sheets in the entire floor. Produced: Hort-sheet 1m x 1m: Filling - PPE 40mm. PVC fabric of different colors can be used as a cover; soft lining is PVV (any thickness and density). When unfolding the greyhound, several flooring options are possible: tensioning using a wooden slat along the perimeter, covering made in the form of separate mats that are fastened together with contact tape, hidden tensioning of the greyhound tire using a cable system or turning it under the edge of the greyhound and securing it. According to the geometry of the sports hall, the greyhound can be laid out in any way, and covered with mats on top.
Training Hort - a horting area, which is a special coating, markings and special equipment, has thickness and density characteristics, is characterized by a one-time throughput:
- calculated for masters of sports and qualified athletes - a smaller number of athletes;
- calculated for beginners - a larger number of athletes. For the calculation of athletes of medium qualification, an intermediate value is taken.
Dimensions and orientation of the horting area. One of the main characteristics of the horting area is the dimensions and orientation of the area. If necessary, it is possible to arrange combined areas with markings for children's and adult duels, as well as with replaceable equipment. The orientation of the longitudinal axis of the horting area is set so that the sun shines from the side during training (along its midline). In this regard, the sites used mainly in the evening are oriented meridianally, that is, their longitudinal axis is located from north to south with an allowable deviation of 15°. If it is necessary to place several horting sites for one type of competition, for example, the "Duel" section, then no more than one third of them can be arranged with an equatorial orientation.
In areas with multi-storey buildings, it is advisable to place the sites on the east side of the buildings and orient them equatorially. With such an orientation, the sun will not interfere with training either in the evening or during the day.
Planning training sites in nature and in the open air. It is important to conduct successful horting training both in the gym and in the fresh air. Each horting club must have a sports ground, a lawn on the street for conducting classes in the summer or in favorable weather conditions. An outdoor horting training ground should be on a flat terrain. If the terrain is uneven, it is necessary to transform it into a flat one (or with normalized slopes), which is the basis for an outdoor horting sports ground. It is advisable to plan in such a way as to make maximum use of the terrain. Planning the outdoor horting surface is best done with slopes from the middle line to the front line. Slopes can also be made on two slopes from the central longitudinal axis to the side lines. However, depending on the placement of athletes on the lawn, it is necessary to carry out all preparatory work in advance, to carry out a full vertical planning.
Arrangement of natural ground surfaces for training. When arranging natural ground covers, the soil on the entire surface of the site is dug up to a depth of 10-15 cm. Then it is cleaned of foreign objects (stones, roots, etc.) using a mesh (6x6 mm thick) stretched over a wooden frame. After cleaning, the soil is leveled in accordance with the approximate design estimates of the site, which can be used for both horting training and competitions. At the same time, drainage grooves are arranged along the side or front lines, depending on the slopes of the site, the terrain and its position in relation to other surrounding structures, trees, etc. The grooves have a minimum depth of 30 cm and a slope of 0.001 in the direction of the natural relief decrease. It is desirable that the surface of the site be 5-10 cm higher than the surrounding terrain. The planned soil is rolled with a hand roller weighing 200-300 kg. During rolling, the slopes are checked and corrected using a template rail and a level. The remaining soil rolling is done after abundant wetting of the coating with water and its drying to such a state that 5-7 times of rolling with the roller does not destroy the soil. During the last rolling of the roller, the soil is sprinkled with clean sand. Excess sand is swept to the line of drainage ditches. In this way, you can build a flat platform for training and competitions in horting, cover the constructed plane first with oilcloth, then with a dense tarpaulin fabric, and already on the fabric you can put horting sheets and hook them to each other, forming a horting sports ground 10 meters x 10 meters. Competition equipment near the outdoor area, referee tables and chairs may be arranged as specified in the official rules for indoor horting competitions.
2. Humanoid dummy for throwing techniques
A wrestling dummy is a training device used to practice throwing techniques and fighting in horting. With the help of dummies, you can practice throwing techniques through multiple repetitions and other techniques.
Dummies are made of different weights and heights. Dummies for improving throwing techniques are designed taking into account the specifics of throwing techniques in the sport of horting. The shape of the dummy is as close as possible to the partner's stance when practicing throws. With dummies, athletes can practice almost any type of throws and techniques and bring them to automatism. The density of the dummies is close to the density of the human body. The center of gravity of the dummies is shifted down for more realistic resistance to the athlete's movements at the time of performing techniques and throws. The properties and materials from which the dummies are made include natural leather on the outside, densely stitched. The skin is glued from the inside with a very strong synthetic material, which gives it additional strength and prevents deformation and stretching of the mannequin material. The mannequin is filled with a non-shrink filler with a center of gravity shifted downwards, providing realistic resistance during the practice of techniques, which gives the mannequin flexibility and density close to the density of the human body. The mannequin does not shrink and therefore the athlete can select the mannequin to his weight. For example, M1 size mannequins are used by athletes weighing 50-60 kg. For athletes weighing 60-70 kg. there is an M2 mannequin, for horting athletes in the weight category of 70-82 kg. - there is an M3 size mannequin.
Leather horting mannequins can be made with both fixed hands and mobile hands. The thickness of the skin is 2-2.2 mm. The packaging is a mixture of textile rags and yarn. Inside the mannequin, tarpaulin bags with sand or lead shot can be inserted to adjust the weight and center of gravity. They are used to practice throwing techniques. At the request of the horting club (customer), the mannequins can be made of 3 mm thick leather.
A high-quality mannequin is made of high-quality genuine leather, will last quite a long time, without losing its shape, without tearing the outer coating. Also, in different versions, several materials are used as filling in the horting mannequin - foam rubber, felt and rubber crumb. To select a mannequin, it must be tested, and only then it enters the training hall. The correct mannequin product is very strong and durable. The horting mannequin is ideal for both home use and for classes in sports clubs, schools and other specialized institutions. A horting club should look for a high-quality and affordable mannequin for throwing equipment, get acquainted with the offers of many manufacturers, and then choose and purchase it. More detailed information about this can be provided by employees of the manufacturing company itself, so it is necessary to consult with both sports specialists and specialists in the production of sports equipment. With the help of a mannequin, athletes have the opportunity to practice throwing from different gripping positions: from a stand over the shoulder, over the hip, with a bend, with a hip grab, transfers to the ground with a neck and arm grip, etc. It is also possible to select mannequins of short and tall height, large and small weight. It is very useful to conduct training on different mannequins in turn, when the weight of the mannequin and the angle of application of the throwing force often change.
3. Long heavy bulk hanging bag (30-40-50-60-70-80-90 kg)
A long hanging horting bag is a heavy mobile projectile for practicing punches and kicks with full force. Long bags are cylindrical and conical, of various sizes and weights, most often they are stuffed with hair, seaweed and technical cotton wool. In recent years, foam bags have been used (round foam washers are put on a metal rod). The long horting bag is sheathed with felt and placed in a canvas, leatherette or leather cover. On the top of the metal rod there is a ring into which a strap is threaded, which connects to the straps of the cover. A chain or rope extends from the ring for hanging from the ceiling. The long bag can be mounted so that it moves in a circle or horizontally in a straight line to master punches from different positions (with a step to the right and left, forward and backward). The athlete must systematically practice punching on a long bag, which helps to purposefully develop the necessary speed-strength physical qualities necessary to strengthen the punch. The long bag allows you to more thoroughly study, understand and improve the technical techniques of combinations of punches and kicks, combinations, the use of upper and lower punches in one attacking combination. Special equipment allows you to make the most of the opportunities of horting training. Practicing individual punches and combinations is the basis for preparing a horting fighter's attack, preparing for the transition to throwing actions, so it is strong and driving punches that can be a good start to a horting fighter's general attack with a continuation on the ground. A professional, heavy leather horting bag - weighing 90 kg. is used to develop a powerful punch and strengthen the upper shoulder girdle when punching with hands, and strengthen the muscles and joints of the hip apparatus, torso and legs when punching with feet.
With the development of horting, the emergence of new technologies and modern materials, the sale of specialized long horting bags has only increased, because now they can be installed even at home, as well as in the courtyards of the private sector, without disturbing the general interior of the apartment, house or yard. Bags can be made of leather and leatherette.
Slightly lighter bags are for novice athletes. A long tarpaulin bag weighing 35-40 kg is perfect for a novice athlete. According to the rules of horting, the first training sessions are held using long bags that are two times lighter than the athlete's weight. And only an experienced horting athlete can use a long heavyweight bag, with a weight close to his own weight, and even more than his own weight. Therefore, working immediately on a long professional heavy leather bag, the athlete risks not delivering a good strong blow, he should choose a bag with less weight, in order to better feel the shock absorption and the movement of the bag after the blow. Having purchased a heavy long horting bag for the future with a margin, a person will simply waste money, because he will not get any real benefit from such a simulator, he needs a lighter projectile, and it is even better to consult a horting specialist before purchasing. Long bags are filled with modern filler made of fabric, sawdust and plastic chips. Even a shorter bag with such filler provides the equipment with excellent shock absorption, so you can not be afraid that the light bag will constantly bounce and fly away after hitting it. It will last a long time and, if the training is regular and full-fledged, will bring considerable benefits. It is recommended to purchase specialized horting bags of medium length of this type for young athletes and adult beginners.
Long bags for professionals are a different matter. An experienced athlete with a strong punch should train using a specialized long heavy bag, the skin of which is strong enough to withstand heavy loads, and the filler is good at holding and absorbing impact. For such work, there are bags made of buffalo leather, which are characterized by increased strength and wear resistance. Plastic crumb and fabric fibers are used as filler for a professional long horting bag.
It is convenient to train short and long-range punches and kicks on a long bag. Having placed long bags along the wall in the gym, a horting trainer will equip a decent sports ground that will allow several high-class athletes to work on it at the same time and at any time. The most common projectile that allows a hortingist to improve his skills in striking techniques is considered to be this long specialized bag, on which you can strike direct, side, bottom, torso, and head, trunk, and hip strikes. Such a bag is used for exercises aimed mainly at developing the strength and hardness of the blow. It is most convenient to practice direct and side blows, as well as blows from below, aimed at the opponent's torso, on a long bag.
The material used to make a long bag can be different. The outer cover of the bag is made of thick leather, tarpaulin, or other dense material. The height of the bag can vary for children and young men - from 80 cm to 1.2 m, diameter from 25 to 35 cm, and for adults - height - from 1.2 to 2 m, diameter from 35 to 60 cm, weight - from 30 to 90 kg.
The bag can be filled with plastic wrap, rags, sawdust, dry peas, etc., but it is better if it has a core - another, smaller diameter bag filled with sand is placed inside it.
Regardless of what the bag or the space between the small bag and the inner walls of the large bag is filled with, for greater density and elasticity, felt should be laid under the surface of the outer bag. In recent years, foam bags have been used (round foam washers are put on metal rods). The bags are hung on one attachment point, which provides them with a kind of swinging amplitude. They are made of PVC fabric with a density of 950-1100 g/m2. Using this bag, you get additional benefits associated with its unusual design, in which the vinyl coating and 7.5 cm of foam around the core give the feeling of hitting a real opponent. The adjustment system allows you to set the weight of the bag according to certain training requirements using the filler.
On the long bag, it is possible to mark the impact zones. The bag with impact zones allows you to apply combinations of blows during training. The bag is filled with polyurethane foam. Its low-profile design provides stability and functionality and has a large neck for more convenient use. The long bag does not require additional tools for assembly.
The characteristics include: bag size: diameter, height, base dimensions, weight with a filled base. The suspension system includes a galvanized detachable ring, a flail for hanging, a carabiner.
Main sizes and performance options of long specialized punching bags for horting:
Diameter, cm Height, cm Weight, kg
25 80 30
30 100 35
30 120 40
30 150 50
30 180 60
35 120 50
35 150 65
45 120 80
45 150 90
50 160 90
55 170 90
60 180 90
60 190 90
Long bag option (sleeve, cone). The universal bag (sleeve, cone) is also long and suspended, but it is narrowed at the bottom in the form of a sleeve or cone, allowing you to practice almost all types of punches and kicks, choosing the place of application of the blow. You can train on the upper cylindrical surface as on a regular bag. The middle conical surface allows you to practice uppercuts, side kicks, and hooks with your hands. The lower cylindrical surface has a small diameter and will replace the middle punch. It is very convenient to practice direct blows to the head, side kicks to the head with both hands and feet. Side kicks to the head, trained on a cylindrical surface with a small diameter, will be more effective in a real fight. To fully use the properties of this horting bag, it is necessary that the fastening system allows you to adjust the height of the bag's suspension. The striking surfaces (upper cylindrical, middle conical, lower cylindrical) must be set at a level that corresponds to the area of practicing blows to the head, torso, hips, but in the vast majority - the head and torso.
Such universal bags weighing from 25 kg to 45 kg combine the properties of a long bag and a regular punching bag and have cylindrical and spherical striking surfaces. For individual home use and self-training of a horting athlete, a compact and inexpensive bag made of genuine leather 75 cm x 35 cm x 30 kg is better suited., Made using traditional horting technology, by which all professional horting equipment is manufactured.
Hydropneumatic long bag option.
The hydropneumatic long bag is filled with water and has a hydropneumatic valve, with which you can adjust one of the most important characteristics of the projectile for the athlete - its rigidity and weight. Depending on the level of preparedness of the athletes and the intensity of their training, it is possible to give the projectile a fundamentally different quality in a couple of minutes by changing the rigidity of the bag. Many athletes and coaches, working in different training modes (changing the weight and rigidity of the projectile), regulate the properties of this air-driven projectile. Continuous high-intensity training provides an excellent load for the whole body, strengthens the muscles of the whole body, promotes the development of quick reaction and coordination of movements, and most importantly: teaches various techniques for delivering and blocking blows. The specificity of the water filler in combination with an air shock absorber leads to a reduction in the impact of the shock wave on the joints, spine and vessels of the brain. By setting certain rigidity modes, you can minimize the harmful effects of shock loads. Such a long bag consists of several inner shells, the main one of which is a power shell, made of high-strength five-layer reinforced waterproof and gas-tight fabric. The outer shell is also made of five-layer fabric. An important advantage of a hydropneumatic bag is its mobility. One type of configuration allows you to transfer a 40-kilogram bag in a compact state within 5 minutes. Everything fits into a convenient bag. An athlete, coming to training camps and competitions, can take a projectile with him and bring it into working condition within a few minutes. This requires water, a car pump for inflating tires and any floor weights. Injury safety - reducing the harmful effects of a shock wave. The elasticity of the water filler in combination with an air shock absorber dampens shock waves, significantly reducing the harmful effects on the joints, spine, blood vessels and brain. Constant density throughout the entire service life - in ordinary filled bags, the stuffing settles over time, the top becomes empty, and at the bottom the bag, on the contrary, acquires maximum rigidity, which threatens various injuries during training and negatively affects the convenience and comfort of working with the bag. It is necessary to provide a reliable and convenient suspension system in the assembly: a split ring, chains, a carabiner with a spring lock.
The steel ring must be split, which allows you to quickly dismantle the entire suspension system.
General requirements for a long specialized horting bag. The bag must have perfect balancing on the mounts and maximum shock absorption. The filler of the shells must consist entirely of shock-absorbing material, so the stronger the blow to the bag, the stronger the shock absorption. You should not choose a heavier bag with the expectation that a heavy shell will contribute to the production of a strong blow. If the athlete cannot push the bag when hitting, his body will turn on protective mechanisms that prevent excessive stress on the joints, ligaments and muscles from injuries and the result of such training will be either a strong, shallow blow to the striking surface, or a blow that is more like a push. When choosing a bag, you should take into account the training of the hand that is closer to the bag in the fighting stance. A blow with the near hand will always be weaker than a blow with the far hand, even with equal possession of the right and left hands. If the bag is too heavy and the athlete cannot correctly hit the hand closest to the bag - there will be no progress, neither in a month nor in a year. In most cases, beginners need to consider the option of purchasing long horting bags weighing 40 kg or 60 kg. Children, novice athletes and amateurs, should start with a light long bag weighing 30-35 kg. It can be quite voluminous (90-100 x 30-35 cm in size) and will allow you to control the correct work of your hands and feet with a gradual increase in the strength and quality of the blow. A small long bag will not "fly away" even when the child's blows are already quite strong and high-quality. This is a property of long horting bags - the stronger the blow, the stronger the shock absorption. Long bags weighing 60 kg are suitable for more experienced athletes. The heaviest long bags of 90 kg and even 100-110 kg are suitable for athletes - heavyweights with a well-placed and correctly placed blow. A bag weighing 55 kg (dimensions 120-130 x 35-40 cm) is designed for practicing blows with hands and feet at all height levels. Athletes' work on a classic long horting bag should be carried out in special gloves, hands can be bandaged if desired.
4. Horizontal (inclined) bulk hanging bag
A horizontal (inclined) bulk bag is a universal hanging projectile for practicing punches and kicks from various non-standard positions. The versatility of such a projectile lies in the fact that the coach can change the angle of inclination of the bag relative to the floor and give the athlete appropriate tasks for the delivery of certain blows, for example, long-range uppercuts, or combinations of blows from below with a hand and knee, etc. Such a bag is an original and rigid projectile for practicing special blows. It is made of belt leather 4-5 mm thick. A horizontal or inclined bag can be either a stuffed (bulk) or a hydropneumatic projectile filled with water with a hydropneumatic valve, with which you can adjust its rigidity and weight. The specificity of the water filler in combination with the air shock absorber leads to a decrease in the impact of the shock wave on the joints, spine and brain vessels, which can minimize the harmful effects of shock loads on the impact parts of the arms and legs.
The horizontal bag must be strong in transverse holding of the position, not to bend. The projectile consists of several inner shells, the main one of which is made of high-strength five-layer reinforced waterproof and gas-proof fabric. The outer shell is made of high-quality genuine leather, which ensures strength and durability even with intensive use. Due to the horizontal placement, such a bag is convenient for practicing bottom-up blows (uppercuts) and knee strikes to the head (chin).
Absorption of impact energy, internal pushing during impact, restoration of shape after impact, wear resistance of materials of the impact surface, durability of the listed properties - these are the main characteristics of professional horizontal and inclined bags. Professionally made horizontal bags are the best choice for horting professionals. The design, manufacturing technology, and material properties of horizontal bags and inclined bags are the main criteria when selecting a projectile for a horting club. The filler of horizontal bags is made of shock-absorbing materials, which allows you to reduce the load on the joints during training. The density of the filler should be average and calculated in such a way as to allow both beginners and professionals to practice on the horizontal bag, since in a horting gym, the vast majority of bags are vertically suspended, and one or two are horizontally suspended (with an inclination). The composition of the filler and the production technology of horizontal bags should ensure, along with shock absorption, the creation of internal pressure in the projectiles, when overcoming which the athlete significantly increases the force of the blow. The side seams should not be noticeable to the athlete, which reduces the likelihood of hand injuries. Due to good shock absorption, horizontal bags should not swing, but hang practically in one place. Since the filler is compressed during the manufacturing process of shells, it cannot shrink during long training sessions.
Bulk horizontal bags are made of genuine leather. The leather is glued from the inside with a very strong synthetic material, which gives it additional strength and prevents deformation and stretching of the shell materials. A specially manufactured non-shrinking shock-absorbing filler should occupy the entire volume of horizontal (inclined) shells, and in this case the service life is equal to the service life of the leather shell. A well-designed and selected horizontal bag helps to set the blow and increase its force, makes the side seams imperceptible when practicing blows, significantly softens the load on the joints, reduces the recoil of the shells.
On a horizontal water bag, it is possible to quickly adjust the stiffness and weight, by adjusting the stiffness, you can choose training modes, that is, simulate blows to the chest and abdomen, which, as is known, differ in the degree of stiffness, and the elasticity of the water filler in combination with an air shock absorber dampens shock waves, significantly reducing the harmful effects on the joints, spine, blood vessels and brain. For this type of projectile, a reliable and convenient suspension system is very important: a split ring, chains, a carabiner with a spring lock. The horizontal bag itself hangs on straps. But if it is necessary to tilt it, then there is a need to secure the bag from the upper edge, and it is better to hang the upper edge from the ceiling. If the upper edge of the tilted bag is suspended from the ceiling, then the lower strap can be used to adjust the angle of inclination of the projectile. Most often, horting clubs use a bag tilt, where the upper part is closer to the working athlete, and the lower part is further away, which allows you to hit from below and sideways and learn to quickly gain the necessary distance. In practice, a vertical hanging long bag is often used to tilt the bag, which is slightly pulled back and raised by a strap, which is additionally attached to the wall of the gym with a stretcher. The stretcher itself can be rigid (not stretchable) and rubber (made of expander rubber), which when hitting an inclined bag gives additional movement of the projectile in the reach area.
5. Light weight, bulk, filled, inflatable, suspended, mobile, from 15 to 40 kg, various sizes
Bulk, stuffed, and filled punching bags come in different weights and sizes and are divided according to the composition of their filling. The punching bag has a specially designed shape that allows you to practice various combinations and series of punches. The arsenal of punches is quite diverse, punches are delivered at different angles and have different directions. Working with this projectile helps you acquire the skills of delivering punches from any position. The most effective training methods for punching hands for hortingists are those that are based on the use of a high-quality punching bag. This most important element of training equipment is designed to improve punch accuracy and develop speed. The conical shape of the punching bag creates an ideal target for practicing punches. Such punching bags are a leather bag made (sewn) in the shape of a pear, which allows the hortingist, in addition to practicing direct and side punches, to practice punches directed from below at the opponent's head. They consist of a leather cover, inside which is placed a bag of tarpaulin or leather, filled with peas, small beans, rubber chips or sand with sawdust, and can also be filled with rags. The leather can be glued from the inside with a very strong synthetic material, which gives it additional strength and prevents deformation and stretching of the materials of the punching bag. The vinyl top of the punching bag can be covered with high-strength foam material. The base can be filled with water or sand and has a rounding for easier movement. Bulk, stuffed, and bulk punching bags can be filled with the same materials as training bags. Punching bags are successfully used, in which water is poured halfway, and then air is pumped in. A large punching bag (60-70 cm long, 30-40 cm in diameter) is very convenient for training. It is advisable to place five or six punches of different sizes and weights in the hall. The punch is hung at the level of the athlete's head and serves to practice the strength and hardness of blows. It can be made of belt leather 4-5 mm thick, or of leather 2.0-2.2 mm thick. Two color zones can be painted on the punch, for example: blue and yellow.
A hard punch is packed with rubber crumb. Its weight is approximately 8-10 kg. It is made of belt leather 4-5 mm thick.
A heavy punch weighing 30 kg can be intended for individual use and training at home. The striking surface of such a punch is spherical in shape and has a large diameter, for example - 50 cm, allowing you to practice almost all types of blows - uppercuts, straight punches, side kicks, hooks, as well as various variations and combinations of these blows.
Light and mobile punching bags are made of leather with a thickness of 1.8-2.2 mm.
The hanging system of the punching bag should consist of a galvanized split ring, chains and a carabiner.
The punching bag can be made using a special non-shrinking shock-absorbing filler that does not shrink. In this case, the service life of the punching bag is equal to the service life of the leather shell. Such material helps to set the blow and increase its force, makes the side seams imperceptible when practicing punches, significantly softens the load on the joints, reduces the swingability of the punching bag. Individual training at home with such a punching bag can be used as a means of relieving emotional tension, to combat stress. Naturally, the quality of the punching bag used for stress relief should be excellent, because if the punching bag is also annoying, the stress from such training will only increase. Punching bags are used to maintain good physical shape. When practicing punches, a lot of muscles and muscle groups are involved. Training with a punching bag in terms of the number of calories burned per unit of time far surpasses all known sports equipment for weight loss. Monotonous swings of arms and legs are a very tiring activity, and when performing similar movements on a punching bag, even during health classes, you can spend time, getting rid of extra pounds and getting good physical and emotional relaxation. If punching bags are used as fitness equipment (especially for women), they must have special characteristics that are different from those required for athletes. They differ from professional shells in a special filler formula. The filler in the fitness series bags allows you to significantly reduce the weight of the shells while maintaining the standard dimensions and make training as comfortable as possible.
On a correctly selected punching bag, as a result of training, the athlete is able to reveal his full potential (muscular, coordination) for a specific type of blow. The filler of the punching bag is pushed inward just enough so that the athlete can correctly conduct the final phase of the blow and transfer the maximum amount of impact energy to the target (in this case, the punching bag) and not violate the biomechanics of a correctly executed blow. An essential property of a correctly selected punching bag is that the filler, pushing inward during the blow, creates a small resistance, which is a kind of training effect for the muscles, which finally manifests itself only in the final phase of the blow. The result of training using a punching bag is a constant improvement in the quality of the muscles involved in the blow. There are many exercises with a punching bag. Their main rules are to try to deliver accurate, accentuated blows at high speed. The amplitude of the punching bag movement is very high, thanks to which the punching bag player has the opportunity to practice his actions in motion. Thus, you need to move more, trying to strike as accurately as possible and from different positions. This makes training with a punching bag as close as possible to the conditions of a fight.
Inflatable punching bag. Punching bags can be inflatable (also called pneumatic) - inside such punching bags there is a latex chamber inflated with air using a special pump. The main advantage of this type of punching bag is the ability to restore its original shape.
Stuffed punching bag. Such a punching bag is stuffed with rubber crumb from the inside. Other fillers are rare - for example, cotton. They can be seen in non-professional stores with punching bags for children, but they can easily provoke allergic reactions, so they are practically not used today;
Bulk punching bag (hydro punching bag). The rubber chambers inside such punching bags are filled with water, so they are completely safe.
In addition to classification by design, there is also a gradation of punching bags by the method of attachment.
There are two types of attachment: on a suspension and on stretchers.
Suspension attachment is a method when the pear is attached to the ceiling or other surface using a strap-loop and a hinged connection. In a similar way, pears of all types of structures are fixed.
Stretcher attachment - the pear is attached to the racks using elastic stretchers. Only inflatable and stuffed pears can be attached to the pear in this way.
The material for making the cover is more often genuine leather. But there are high-quality models with a cover made of various types of leatherette, as well as from awning material. Manufacturers of pears indicate on their models the number of so-called "petals" that make up the cover completely. Their number usually ranges from six to eight pieces, but there are exceptions.
Only stuffed and bulk pears are classified by weight, their minimum weight is 3-5 kg, and the maximum can reach 25 kg.
The actual service life of a punching bag depends on the intensity of its use, the characteristics of the room in which the training takes place (humid air, heat), but a punching bag made of genuine leather - a strong and durable material, or PVC fabric - is no less reliable in long and intensive operating conditions and will perfectly complement any horting training room or become high-quality equipment for home use.
6. Pneumatic suspension pear
Pneumatic pear. A pneumatic pear consists of a leather tire and a rubber chamber inside, inflated with air to the required elasticity. Pears can be of two or three sizes. The smaller the pear, the more it moves. Using a hinge, the pear is suspended from a horizontal platform with a diameter of 20 cm and a thickness of 5-6 cm made of hardwood. The platform is attached to the wall or ceiling on a special frame or brackets at a height convenient for horting athletes. It is recommended to install 3-4 platforms in the hall. The optimal design of these shells will allow you to achieve excellent rebound of the pear, which helps maintain the required rhythm of blows. There should be a screw adjustment on top of the pear for quick change of the height of the projectile. Such a pear is an indispensable attribute when practicing horting to improve the striking technique of the hands, it allows the athlete to develop dexterity and speed of blows.
7. Pear on stretch marks
The punching bag is also a leather ball with fasteners on top and bottom, which allows it to be fixed in a vertical position with rubber bands. The punching bag is also designed to practice the speed and accuracy of direct and lateral blows with hands and feet.
The projectile consists of two strong rubber bands, one of which is fixed to the floor of the gym, and the other is attached to the ceiling, which provides tension and holds the punching bag at a height convenient for striking. For adult training, the punching bag is located at a height of approximately 165-175 cm from the floor. From the impact, the punching bag tilts to the side, rolls and returns to its previous position. On this projectile, hortingists improve the accuracy of hitting, coordination and reaction to the movement of the punching bag after strikes.
8. Stationary pear on a platform
The stationary pear on the platform belongs to the category of so-called "floor" shells, which are stationary. Such a pear can be mounted on a platform in a sports hall, where it is impossible to hang shells from the ceiling or walls on brackets, as well as if there is a suitable place in the hall to obtain a comfortable radius of blows to the pear.
The shell consists of a heavy cast-iron platform-platform, fixed on the floor of the sports hall, to which a metal base is screwed in a vertical position, which holds the pear in a vertical position. A heavy pear is attached to the reinforced base (around it), the main striking part of which should be at a height of 165-175 cm from the base. The pear does not tilt to the side from the blow, which allows athletes to put all their strength into the blow. On this projectile, hortingists improve mainly direct and side blows with their hands and feet. The pear on the platform has a round shape for ease of movement during training.
A stationary punching bag on a platform can be inflatable and is a leather barrel in the shape of a pear, with an inflatable rubber chamber. Such a punching bag with a chamber is designed to practice speed and accuracy of blows when high-frequency blows are applied to it continuously with both hands and feet.
The punching bag on a platform is made of dense foamed polyurethane. The low-profile base is filled with rags or sand and has a rounded shape.
The diameter of such a punching bag can be from 25 to 70 cm. The height of the punching bag is from 140 to 190 cm.
The diameter of the platform is 1 m. For greater stability and weight, the punching bag should have a wide base on which it is located.
9. Heavy pneumatic pear on the platform
The pneumatic punching bag on the platform has the same parameters and large dimensions as the non-pneumatic punching bag on the platform, but it differs in that it is located on a shock-absorbing mechanism or spring. This is the most famous product in the group of heavy punching bags and bags. It has all the advantages of traditional training punching bags and bags and, at the same time, does not have the hardness with which a regular heavy bag meets the blow. The pneumatic punching bag on the platform provides the desired degree of resistance depending on the density. The punching bag is designed to work out the distance when striking and the fast "pole" striking technique of the arms and legs. When training with a heavy punching bag, which is pneumatic, it is necessary to invest more strength in the legs, body, arms and to approach and move away from the target in a timely manner. This punching bag can be placed at home, it does not require fastening to the ceiling, like a regular punching bag, it is relatively silent during training. You can work on the bag without projectile gloves, practice hitting with your palms and fingers.
You need to choose a pneumatic punching bag for yourself by weight. The weight of an unfilled punching bag is from 40 to 90 kg.
10. Light pneumatic spring-loaded pear
The lightweight pneumatic spring-loaded hammer consists of a cast-iron platform fixed to the floor, to which a steel spring with a diameter of 4-5-6 cm is attached at a height of 165-175 cm. The hammer is attached to the top of the spring, with the wide part facing up. The hammer tilts to the side when struck and returns to its original position. On this projectile, hortingists improve direct and lateral punches, high-speed kicks for accuracy of hit. Such a hammer can be widely used in training in children's horting groups, because the stiffness of the meeting of the striking part of the limb with the target is significantly reduced due to the spring's cushioning, which reduces the likelihood of wrist or ankle injury at the initial stage of training.
11. Pneumatic humanoid mannequin on a platform (base)
A pneumatic humanoid dummy on a platform allows you to practice the accuracy of the blow well by imitating the human body. Such a projectile is convenient to use, and the "skin" of the dummy and its human form allows you to feel a real blow and strengthens the athlete's psyche. Using this equipment, you can practice all types of blows without blindly aiming, but applying them to the desired area of the torso. It is also convenient that the dummy is located on a platform, and it can be easily carried, rearranged to another corner of the hall, or taken to another sports hall. Due to the shock absorption on the platform, the dummy moves the simulated body as a realistic training or competition partner, which adds a sense of the athlete's adaptation to a real combat situation. Dummies can be of different weights, sizes, heights, and increased impact surface. If the humanoid mannequin has a larger impact surface, it allows you to practice lower kicks, back kicks, etc. The mannequin's skin is made of high-strength plastisol.
The height of the torso can be changed (7 positions): from 150 to 200 cm.
The base is filled with water or sand. When the base is filled with sand, the weight is 220 kg.
When the base is filled with water (approximately 120 liters), the weight is approximately 140 kg.
The internal cavity of the mannequin is filled with durable polyurethane foam.
12. Uppercut roller
Allows you to apply uppercuts when using any hanging bags and punching bags or bags on the platform. The roller is made of foam material and a non-slip wear-resistant coating. The base of the roller is filled with sand or rubber crumb. The inner diameter of the roundness of the roller can be from 10 to 20 cm. The convenience of such a roller is that it can be placed at any height by moving it up and down on the bag or punching bag. In addition, due to its relatively small size, the roller can be a personal tool of the athlete.
13. Wall pillow (straight and rounded)
A wall cushion is a convenient special equipment for practicing punches and kicks. To make it, a 100 x 800 mm frame is first made from 30-40 mm thick boards; its upper edge is upholstered with soft material, and the inside is stuffed with horsehair, pieces of rubber or dense foam rubber and covered with leather, leatherette or tarpaulin. The cushions are mounted on the wall and are intended for studying and improving direct and side blows. It is advisable to have two or three wall cushions in the hall, as they serve to practice the strength and rigidity of direct punches, side blows with hands and feet. The basis of the cushion is a wooden frame, on which it is rigidly attached to the wall. The filling of the cushion can also consist of layers of foam rubber 1.5 - 2 cm thick, between which felt is laid.
The total thickness of the pillow can vary from 5 to 10 cm. The dimensions of the pillow can be very different, but the most convenient: width 45 - 50 cm, height 70 - 100 cm. For greater elasticity, felt is also laid under the surface of the pillow. The outer surface of the pillow can be made of leather, leatherette, tarpaulin or other material.
Hard wall pillows of various sizes and shapes allow you to deliver blows at any angle. Good quality pillows are made of a hard wooden frame covered with hard foam rubber and belt leather 4-5 mm thick. Wall pillows can be flat, semicircular and embossed. Approximate size of flat wall pillows: 50x40x18, 60x50x18.
Size options for semicircular wall pillows: 60x40x30, 75x40x30, 90x40x30.
The embossed wall pillow can have the following parameters: 86x40x19.
The wall pillow is ideal for both equipped horting halls and non-specialized halls with a lack of space for hanging heavy bags. The high-quality wall pillow is made of genuine leather and is designed to practice most of the strokes used. The wall pillow is attached to the wall with pillow mounting brackets (4 pieces) at the corners. If the pillow is elongated, it is necessary to attach it to the wall also in the middle of the long sides (+ 2 brackets).
The pillow can be designed to be hung on support posts in sports halls and is also used to improve direct and side strokes. Using wall cushions significantly saves space in the gym.
14. Wall trampoline
A wall trampoline is used to throw a stuffed ball or other stuffed training equipment into it and catch it when pushing it away.
The base of the equipment is a frame measuring 150 x 120 cm made of a metal pipe with a diameter of 4 cm. In the middle of the frame is a strong canvas square, rubber or spring stretchers extend from its edges. The frame is attached to the wall or to the floor. When the stuffed ball hits the canvas square, the springs stretch and the ball bounces back to the person who is doing it. Trampoline exercises develop agility, visual acuity and endurance.
15. Wall mirror (1x2 m)
A standard wall mirror for sports use is 1x2 meters in size. A mirror or several mirrors of the same size are placed on a wall free of projectiles at the height of a person so that when viewed, the entire body from head to toe can be seen. It is desirable to have a free area in front of the mirror so that not one but several athletes can practice and observe the execution of their personal technique for performing the horting element. In a correctly positioned mirror, the entire body, head position and gaze, leg position when performing the stance and movements, all initial and final positions for punches and kicks will be visible. If the area in front of the mirror is covered with a soft surface, then athletes can practice throws with falls to the floor and observe the execution of their technique.
Inventory
One of the most important elements on which the level of training of a horting athlete depends is the quality of his training equipment.
1. Portable cushion (straight and round) for practicing punches
Portable pillows are one of the most common equipment in the training method of horting athletes when practicing the striking technique of the hands and feet. The pillows are comfortable, light, provide maneuverability when practicing blows, changing the levels of striking, have a certain elasticity and penetration due to low density.
The portable pillow is made of multi-layer foam filler, which ensures its impenetrability and allows you to practice the strongest blows. Strong wear-resistant leather allows you to stay in working condition for a long time. Three handles on the back of the pillow make it strong and comfortable to hold.
The pillow packaging can be made of different materials, for example:
- lightweight with the use of polyethylene foam;
- reinforced with the use of secondary foaming foam.
The top of the pillow can be made of genuine leather. Different versions of the pillows can have single or double hand fastening.
The top of the pillow can also be made of parachute fabric, the filler is polyurethane foam. On the back side there is a support for the hands. The pillow can be unzipped with a "zipper". The pillows can be straight or curved in configuration.
The top of a quality pillow is made of genuine leather, the filler is polyurethane foam. A round white target can be painted or sewn into the center of the pillow.
Horting coaches often use medium-sized pillows that have grips on the back for holding with two hands and the highest quality protection from multilayer foam for professional use. The leather cover is made to withstand the hardest blows. Portable pillows are sports equipment designed to practice blows. Portable pillows are used with the help of a coach or assistant and allow you to effectively train blows with both hands and feet. In addition, training with a moving target allows you to develop a sense of distance and work out the best moment to strike. Pillows will help you deliver a sharp and powerful blow. Consistent use of pillows in training makes it possible to develop a blow whose force will achieve a knockout punching effect.
Independent production of a portable pillow is a complex technological process that requires the manufacturer to strictly follow the technological process in terms of maintaining the shape of the pillow and filling the front combat layer. When making pillows independently, it is advisable to use only high-quality materials that guarantee a long service life. The basis for making a pillow is a spring block, the quality of which determines the training properties of the projectile. When making a pillow in modern conditions, various materials are used that ensure long-term operation of the projectile while preserving its properties.
Today, you can buy a portable pillow in almost any sports store, where there is a large selection of different sizes, prices and types. You just need to determine the required shape and size, and a quality pillow will help you achieve maximum effect from your training. Various models of portable training pillows ensure maximum efficiency of the training process.
2. Portable shield for practicing strikes
A portable shield for practicing striking attacks is designed for delivering punches and kicks to a moving target. The shield measures approximately 1.3 m x 1 m and is 10-18 cm thick. The size and thickness of the shield are selected individually according to the height of the students. The shield can be straight or rounded. On a straight shield, mainly direct punches and punches from below, or side punches with lateral movement are practiced. On a rounded shield, it is very convenient to work not only on punching, but also on sparring endurance, performing punches and kicks with great intensity for a time. Shields are made of tarpaulin or banner fabric, filled with layers of foam rubber, between which the outer and inner layers of polyurethane foam are laid, and felt is placed on top of it. The shield is held on the person by wide straps that the athlete throws over his neck and over his head. A horizontal attachment can be fitted behind with another wide strap. It is mandatory that the back of the shield has a support device for supporting the shield with your hands, and the support devices can also be on the side. On a portable shield, blows to the middle and lower levels are practiced. For variety, the partner holding the shield can move directly towards you, move away, or move to the side.
3. Body protector (vest) for practicing strikes
A torso protector, or vest, is worn by a partner over sportswear and is used to practice punches and kicks to the torso. Placing the protector directly on the partner's torso gives the real skill of attacking a target on a moving person's body. The torso protector is made of canvas or tarpaulin fabric on the outside and inside, inside the vest there are polyurethane or polypropylene plates laid between a layer of secondary foamed foam. A sheet of medium-thick felt is laid under the inside of the vest, which is applied to the person's body. To secure the vest to the partner's torso, fastening strips with ties and plastic carabiners are attached to its edge. A wide ribbon is sewn to the upper edge of the vest for placement around the neck, the length of which is regulated by a fastener.
Torso protectors can be children's and adult sizes. The protector can have painted areas for striking in the center (opposite the solar plexus) and on the sides (in the liver and kidneys). There are special torso vests that go with hip protectors. Such protectors allow you to practice punches and kicks to the torso, and kicks to the hips, which adds efficiency and variety to your training.
4. Mitten paws
The trainer's paw-glove is a compacted oval-shaped cushion, one side of which is worn on the hand. The horting paw is made of leather, its filling consists of horsehair or felt, and layers of polyethylene foam can also be used to fill the paws, which makes the horting paw light and quite strong. The top of the paw is better made of genuine leather. The pre-formed polyurethane foam insert retains the shape of the paw-glove for a long period of use. A white target is painted or sewn onto the palm of the paw. The paw is attached to the wrist with "Velcro". Horting paws can also be made of durable PVC fabric, allowing you to hone the technique of striking a target that appears quickly, combine strikes, and practice counterattacks in defense. The classic shape of the paw-glove is straight, but it can be round, square and under the arm. A convenient fastening system allows you to clearly and firmly fix the paws on the hands.
Paw-gloves are an indispensable equipment of the trainer. They are necessary for setting the technique and developing the accuracy of striking in the hortingist. Holding the student on the paws, the trainer observes not only the correct striking and combinations, but also his movements, the work of the legs and torso. Paw-gloves are one of the main training devices with which the trainer develops the accuracy of the strike in the hortingist and sets his technique. It is with the paws that it is possible to bring the training closer to the conditions of a real fight, since the trainer's hand is in constant motion. With the help of the paws, the trainer ensures the highest possible training pace. In addition, with the help of the paw, the coach can check the athlete's readiness to repel sudden blows
The top of the paw and its compartment (place for the fingers) for the hand are made of genuine leather. The paw can be simple and elongated. The elongated paw is approximately 10-15 cm longer than the simple one. The thickness of the paw is 6 cm. The compartment for the hand can be elongated from genuine leather to accommodate the hand along with the wrist. The fastening of such a paw is made both with Velcro and with an elastic band. The wrist is attached with Velcro, the elastic band can be sewn into the edge of the compartment for the hand. The top of the paw is better made of artificial leather.
5. Percussion racket paws
The kick-racket is equipment for practicing the accuracy of kicks to the upper level, made of genuine leather, has a round-shaped kick target approximately 15-20 cm in diameter with a soft leather handle. The racket can be single or double. A ring band is attached to the end of the handle to secure the racket to the wrist. The racket's internal structure is 3-4 polypropylene sheets cut in the shape of a racket with a handle. The equipment is laced up from above with a dense ribbon, the ends of which are tucked into the racket. The rackets are very convenient and safe to use, the coach can simultaneously pair athletes, give each pair a racket and, giving commands to practice kicks, watch how the students perform them. As a result of repeated repetitions, each athlete can choose the necessary distance for kicking to the upper level. The racket is effective for practicing lateral, turn and jump kicks. The doubles racket is also designed for practicing kicks. The racket is made of high-quality genuine leather, the inner filler is polyurethane foam. The reinforced handle is anatomically shaped with an elastic safety loop. The racket is an effective means of practicing hitting techniques.
6. Protective helmet with closed chin
A boxing helmet is the main means of protection for a horting athlete aged 5 to 17, female athletes of all age groups, as well as veterans aged 35-40, 40-45. According to the rules of amateur sports, a horting protective helmet is a necessary part of an athlete's equipment during competitions. A protective helmet with a closed chin serves to reliably protect the head during horting training and competitions. Horting uses closed helmets (closed chin), as well as training helmets with a mask (for preparation for competitions). A horting competition helmet is made only with a closed chin, since when grabbing the neck, where wrestling techniques are allowed, the helmet should not be held loosely on the chin, a weak fastening strap will tear. The helmet is made of both genuine leather and other soft fabric materials. In horting, a helmet without a visor is used - with an open face, but the chin is closed both in front and below. The helmet serves to soften blows to the head and protect the eyebrows, cheekbones and ears from damage. It covers the ears, part of the face, chin and back of the head. A high-quality helmet is sewn from genuine leather with enhanced protection in the area of the ears and chin. It should have a double fastening system. The helmet is made of high-quality genuine leather, the inside is finished with suede. The foam filler of the helmet contributes to optimal shock absorption. The size is adjusted around the circumference of the parietal part, on the back of the head and with rear "velcro", which are sewn on leather double straps, and therefore the helmet is an ideal option for athletes who care about their safety. The purpose of the helmet is to allow the athlete to protect himself from possible injuries and damage during competitions and training. A reliable training helmet provides maximum protection for the hortingist's head from impacts of any force. The helmet can be adjusted using lacing on top and Velcro on the back. A hortingist's competition helmet is open-faced, but a training helmet may have additional face protection - "cheeks". The use of children's sizes of helmets begins at 5 years of school age. In horting, helmets are made in two colors: dark blue and dark yellow. Well-made helmet models protect the chin, back of the head, ears and head from above, but at the same time provide maximum viewing angle. A helmet with a mask is used for training and protects the face from impacts.
7. Rubber balls (pinchball)
A ball on rubber bands (pinchball) is used to improve the striking technique of the hands and feet. Leather loops are made on the top and bottom of the ball, to which stretchers are attached. Usually the upper stretch is rubber, and the lower one is leather or nylon (both can be made of rubber band, but it is desirable that the upper one stretches and the lower one has a constant size). After the blow, the ball moves in a horizontal direction. Horting athletes use it to improve direct and side blows with their hands and feet. To improve blows from below and direct blows, such a ball is attached to shorter horizontal stretchers.
8. Suspended tennis ball on a rope (puntball)
A tennis ball, covered with leather, is attached to a round shield made of boards 30 mm thick and 1.5-2 m in diameter with the help of a nylon cord. The ball flies up in an arc from the impact and, hitting the court, turns back or changes direction depending on the direction of the impact.
This projectile is used to improve direct, lateral, and bottom strikes with hands and feet. This projectile is used to practice the speed and accuracy of the strike, as well as the reaction to the movement of the target.
9. Boxing gloves, 8-16 ounces
Competitive horting gloves 10 ounces and 12 ounces, which are purchased in specialized sports stores. Participants in horting competitions among boys 14-15 years old, juniors 16-17 years old, adults 18-35 years old and veterans 36-40, 40-45 years old conduct duels in special soft gloves weighing 8 ounces (about 227 g). Gloves are an indispensable attribute of horting duels, which are a reliable weapon of a fighter, made of genuine leather and high-quality polyurethane filler. Such gloves are firmly attached to the hand with a Velcro cuff and create maximum protection for the athlete's hands, preventing possible professional injuries. The top of the glove is made of genuine leather, the filler is molded polyurethane foam. Gloves are designed for training and competition, can be red, blue, black with a white striking surface. Weight of a competition glove for heavyweights: 10 ounces.
Training gloves are made according to the following standards: the top is made of synthetic leather, the filler can be different, from crumbs and layers of polypropylene, fleece, polyurethane plates, etc. Cuff on an elastic band. Color: red, blue and black. Weight can be: 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 ounces. The top can be made of synthetic leather, and the palm of suede. Large gloves made of genuine leather can be made with a pre-formed insert for training. Training gloves should provide good protection not only for the hands of their owner, but also perform protective functions against the opponent. As a rule, training gloves weigh more than "competition" ones. This is done so that during training for fights, athletes receive fewer injuries. Therefore, for training, you should buy gloves with a lot of weight, which are specially made for such activities. As for amateur gloves, they differ from their counterparts in special sewing properties. The thumb is sewn almost parallel to the hand. After all, if you hit hard, the thumb can pop out of the joint or even break. These gloves are worth buying to prevent the consequences of a strong blow if you consider yourself a beginner amateur. But in professional gloves, the thumb is sewn according to the anatomy of the fist. This provides the opportunity to hit the opponent hard and not be afraid that the fingers and the hand as a whole may be injured during the fight. The glove filler can be made of cotton wool. It is worth considering that over time, the cotton wool falls off, forming lumps. Therefore, if you decide to engage in hard boxing, you should order gloves with a cotton filler. Modern materials are able to spring the blow. For the manufacture of the filler, foam rubber is used, which is made according to special recipes that are kept strictly secret by each manufacturer.
For reliable protection of the athlete's hand, polyurethane foam filler is used. Gloves should be made of durable leather.
A large projectile glove is distinguished by increased rigidity on the outside. At the same time, they should also protect the hands well. Such gloves should be used to practice blows on a pear, bags and so-called paws, which are often used by trainers for training sessions.
Some modern manufacturers design gloves with leading sports orthopedic surgeons to guarantee excellent hand protection. Traditional training gloves are made for maximum comfort and support. Genuine leather is the best material for making gloves for horting.
10. Shingarty (open-fingered gloves)
Shingarts for adults. Shingarts are made with open fingers, they are used for professional horting duels according to the rules of MMA. This is due to the fact that during fights, in addition to blows, athletes must have the opportunity to grab a partner and perform a throw or painful technique. Shingarts can be worn for MMA-Horting competitions and training. They are made of both natural leather and a combination of artificial and natural materials. High-quality shingarts for adults are of amateur and professional level, they are made of natural leather, have a shock absorption area when struck by hand of 1.5-2 cm, open fingers for holding, laces or Velcro for fastening on the wrist. They can also be used for fights without rules.
Shingarts for children. Shingarts for horting athletes aged 5-13 years are made of dense fabric material, inside which a softener is inserted. Children's shinguards are used by children in competitions, they make it possible to soften blows with hands, as well as to pull fists and make grabs, performing throws and wrestling techniques on the ground. Impact surface with thickening. Cuff on elastic band securely fixes the wrists.
Shinguards for children from fabric can be made separately for each finger, and the attachment point can also be sewn between the middle and ring fingers.
11. Projectile gloves
Projectile gloves are a special type of horting gloves, designed for working on a bag, punching bag and sports paws. They are made of leather or special artificial materials. Gloves (another name - "pancakes") are significantly lighter in weight (they are not divided by ounces) and size, they contain significantly less filler, but they have increased wear resistance. Projectile gloves are not intended for sparring, because they are too traumatic for the opponent. Such gloves should have excellent ventilation, because the high impact intensity leads to rapid sweating of the fingers and hand. Manufacturers make an elongated wrist on some gloves. When choosing projectile gloves, it is necessary to ensure that they have good thumb protection and that they are made of durable genuine leather. Options for manufacturing projectile gloves (pancakes): genuine leather, Velcro cuffs, artificial leather, elastic cuffs. The color can be any: red, blue, black, etc.
Gloves can have a curved shape, made with a volumetric injection filler. Such gloves are convenient in that they have a wide cuff (5 cm) with a Velcro fastener.
If the projectile gloves are made of genuine leather, then they serve an order of magnitude longer than their substitute counterparts, so in order for the gloves to last at least a few years, it is better to choose the option made of genuine leather. The Velcro cuff securely fixes the wrist, which eliminates injuries when working on the paws and heavy bags. Such projectile gloves are an excellent choice for those who value the high quality of their training.
To choose projectile gloves, you need to measure the circumference of the palm with a centimeter tape in the widest place, excluding the thumb: palm circumference, cm 17-18 18-19 19-22 23-27. The sizes in which projectile gloves are made are: S / M / L / XL / XXL.
Projectile gloves are an individual training tool, it is advisable to have them personally and not to transfer them, based on the rules of training hygiene.
12. Helmet masks
Helmet masks are attached to the front of the helmet in front of the face and are used during training in hand striking techniques to prevent injuries to the athletes' facial organs. The mask is selected in such a way that it fully protects the face from impacts and is securely and securely attached to the helmet. If a special plastic mask sold in a sports store may be sufficient for children's training, then for classes with adults it is necessary to use a mask made of steel rods covered with a layer of resistant paint with filler. It must be remembered that the mask can only be used when working in a rack when improving the striking technique of hands dressed in large gloves. The use of a mask in the training process of horting when performing wrestling elements is prohibited, to prevent cracks in plastic masks, getting fingers or toes between the partitions of the mask, as well as other unwanted injuries to athletes.
13. Small dumbbells, 500 g - 2 kg
Small sports dumbbells are used in the training process of horting to train sparring endurance. Depending on the age of the athlete and his weight, as well as physical fitness, the coach gives out dumbbells: 500 g, 1 kg, 2 kg, or more for training in basic hand techniques for the purpose of additional weighting. The exercise "shadow fight" is very often used in training, during one or several rounds, athletes with medium or high intensity deliver basic blows to the air. Exercises with dumbbells can be performed both on the spot and while moving. Experienced coaches have dumbbells carved independently, made of heavy metals (for example, iron or lead) of different weights. For high-class athletes, dumbbells of 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 kg can be used, depending on the volume of aerobic load and the specifics of the exercise.
14. Weights for arms, legs, torso (weight cuffs and belts)
Weights for arms, legs, and torso are made in the form of cuffs and belts. Weights for arms are attached with straps and fasteners to the wrists, and for legs - to the ankle joint. They are made of a thick fabric base with lead rods in the middle. They can be of varying difficulty for both boys and adults. Exercises with weights are often used to train in the technique of striking and performing blocks, as well as general developing and strengthening exercises. With a weight belt or cuffs on the legs, you can do training runs, hold a gymnastic angle on the Swedish wall, perform swing exercises, and exercises to strengthen the muscles of the torso.
15. Electric stopwatch
An electric stopwatch is a necessary device for every trainer. During the training, the trainer monitors the time of endurance exercises, cross-country training, shadow fighting, training duels against time, etc. The stopwatch can be used to record the time of speed exercises: 30 m, 60 m, 100 m, 200 m sprints, track and field relays, performing throws and hitting the bag against time, etc. Exercises for the development of speed and strength qualities that can be performed using a stopwatch: climbing a rope, walking on hands, moving along a handwalk, performing somersaults in a wrestling bridge, lifting a barbell and kettlebell for a certain number of times, various exercises with a partner with resistance.
III. Shared equipment for general developmental exercises
1. Gymnastic walls and stairs (ladders)
Gymnastic walls have a certain size and are placed in convenient places in the gym. The gymnastic wall (4-6 spans) is attached to the wall in a vertical position. You can hang a gymnastic ladder on the hooks, giving it a different angle of inclination, as well as mounted crossbars and bars. On these equipment, you can perform exercises in flexion-extension of the arms, in stops, hanging and others, mainly for developing the strength of individual muscle groups and flexibility of the joints. You can hold on to the crossbars of the wall ladder with your hands, performing exercises, swings with your legs, etc.
2. Gymnastic bench
There can be 4-8 gymnastic benches in a gym, and they are used for seating participants in the training process during methodological instructions, educational conversations with athletes, and briefings on safety rules during classes, as well as for direct performance of training exercises. They perform exercises on it in stops, sitting and lying, in balance. The bench is used for jumps, coordination runs, etc. To ensure a variety of classes, coaches can place benches next to each other in a row, across, cross benches, place them in parallel at different intervals, etc. It is necessary to ensure that each bench has a certain stability and does not wobble when standing on the floor of the gym.
3. Hanging rope for climbing
The hanging rope for climbing is designed to develop the strength of the arm muscles, in general, the entire upper limb belt, but if you maintain the position on the rope by grabbing with your feet, then a sense of general coordination develops. Grabbing the rope with your feet improves the gripping technique with your feet on the ground. You can climb the rope to the middle, to the very top fastening, also several times without stepping on the floor. A highly effective exercise for older athletes is climbing the rope without the help of your feet 2-3-4 times up and down without stopping on the floor.
If there are 2 hanging ropes in the gym, the coach can hold relay races: who will climb faster and touch the fastening, or the designated rope. The height for children can be marked on the rope with red ropes: 1.5 m, 2 m, 2.5 m, 3 m, 3.5 m, 4 m, 4.5 m, 5 m. When performing exercises on the rope, it is imperative to place gymnastic mats underneath to avoid athletes falling hard.
4. Gymnastic rings
Gymnastic rings are used mainly for strength exercises for the muscles of the arms and torso, for performing crosses with the arms and for stretching. You can also perform leg lifts to the rings and torso in an inverted vertical position on the rings. You can also perform hangings on two arms and on one arm for a while. If there are no rings in the gym, then similar exercises can be performed on the crossbar.
5. Gymnastics and hanging crossbar
The gymnastic crossbar is attached to the floor of the gym with a stop and on the stretchers, its height can be adjusted with locking bolts. Various gymnastic exercises, athletic and power elements that develop arm strength and grip strength, rotations, twists, power outings on the hands, etc. can be performed on the crossbar. The hanging crossbar is attached to the gymnastic ladder with hooks. Depending on which step of the ladder the hooks of the hanging crossbar are hooked on, its height to the floor is adjustable, which is convenient for training with children. On the hanging crossbars, children can safely jump and hang for a while, pull themselves up a certain number of times, raise their feet to the crossbar a certain number of times, hold an angle with their legs, training the abdominal muscles.
6. Parallel bars, gymnastic and hanging
Stationary parallel bars are placed in the gym at a distance from the walls, to avoid collisions, they should be covered with gymnastic mats from below. Parallel bars can be at the same height or of different heights, the height of the bars is regulated by locking bolts and a mechanism. On the bars, you can perform basic gymnastic exercises, acrobatic and power elements that contribute to the development of arm strength and body coordination in space, shoulder stands, handstands, jumps and turns. Suspended parallel bars are attached with hooks to a gymnastic ladder, used for training children and adolescents at low heights. The most common exercises on the hanging bars are arm curls in full and half-hold with a direct and reverse grip, arm pull-ups, hand and one-arm hangs, alternate hand grabs, performing a leg angle in the hold to strengthen the abs, and others.
7. Athletic machines or wall blocks with weight, weight lifts
Athletic machines or wall blocks with cargo, cargo lifts are accessories for improving the physical qualities of athletes. The machines are selected depending on the size of the hall and the need and direction of the loads. Machines for performing exercises are multifunctional and for individual types of muscles. In the practice of horting, it is more convenient to use multifunctional stationary machines, as they occupy one place and are used for many different physical exercises. The machines are selected for the load of different groups of muscles of the arms (flexors, extensors), legs and trunk, they can be block, that is, on cables, and with direct weighting on the frames of the machines. Variants of machines can also be based on the principle of a lift. The cargo lift is placed on the walls. Racks with blocks through which the cables pass are attached to the wall. A load is attached to one end of the cable (discs from a barbell of different weights), and handles are attached to the other, which the athlete takes and pulls the load up through the blocks. Exercises for the development of strength endurance on the machines are planned by the coach and performed by the athlete from one projectile to another. The "Hercules" machine is used comprehensively. This is a combined structure, with the help of which you can develop most physical qualities: strength, power endurance, flexibility, coordination. All the machines are adjustable according to the load, and the trainer has the opportunity to adjust the load of both beginners (small weight loads and intensity of approaches) and experienced horting athletes - to increase the load to the maximum capacity. Soft coverings, mats and other tools can be used to soften the benches when performing exercises. Crowding of athletes around the machine while performing exercises is prohibited by the safety rules for horting classes.
8. Straight collapsible weightlifting barbell (-30 +260 kg)
The straight collapsible weightlifting bar is used mainly by adult athletes to load large weights. The sports weightlifting bar can be installed on racks for squats and bench presses. To perform jerks and pushes when lowering the bar, shock-absorbing blocks must be fitted in the places where the bar touches the floor, which allow you to absorb the impact load of the bar. In the absence of such devices, it is prohibited to freely throw the bar after lifting. The bar can be lifted with your feet, leaning your hands on the gymnastic wall, walking with it on your shoulders, performing torso rotations with the bar on your shoulders. At the same time, the coach must ensure that the fixing brackets on the sides of the bar are in good condition and securely fix the bars on the bar. The barbell should have a set of pancakes up to 260 kg, since in heavy weight categories athletes must perform heavy loads on their legs and arms, train wrist grips, etc., which no other equipment, even a machine, in the gym can provide. Pancakes from the barbell that are not used should be stacked on special racks and after performing the exercises, they should be stacked in this order, without interfering with the work of other athletes.
9. Special collapsible barbell with a bent neck
A collapsible barbell with a bent barbell is used in every workout, can be in the gym in the amount of 2-4 pieces, is a convenient tool for training the arm muscles: biceps, triceps, latissimus dorsi. The curvature of the barbell in the places of grip with the hands ensures the convenience of placing the hand on the barbell and allows for a variety of efforts. A collapsible barbell with a bent barbell should have an adjustable weight from 20 to 50 kg.
10. Shortened non-collapsible barbell (15 kg, 25 kg, 35 kg)
The shortened non-collapsible barbell is a one-piece accessory that allows you to confidently perform rotational exercises at high speeds, both holding the barbell in your hands and on your shoulders. Different weight loads should be selected for different age groups of athletes. The shortened non-collapsible barbell can weigh 15 kg, 25 kg, 35 kg, and others, depending on the weight of the metal balls welded to the one-piece metal barbell.
11. Kettlebells: 16 kg, 24 kg, 32 kg
Standard kettlebells are made of one pound (16 kg), one and a half pounds (24 kg), two pounds (32 kg). Kettlebells of other weights can be privately manufactured. Kettlebells are used in the training of middle-aged and older athletes and adults. Exercises with kettlebells develop strength and speed-strength qualities of the arms and back, as well as the shoulder girdle and pectoral muscles. With kettlebells, you can perform one- and two-handed push-ups, various lifts, juggling, etc. In an inclined position, rotations of kettlebells in the hands develop grip strength. When pulling up in an inclined position, the muscles of the arms and back work. In the open air, kettlebells are widely used in somersaults and juggling by both one and two athletes one against another. Among men over 18 years of age, it is convenient to hold qualifying competitions in pushing a kettlebell (16, 24, 32 kg) with one hand or two kettlebells with two hands while standing from the shoulders. For adult heavyweight athletes, the horting club may have homemade weights heavier than 32 kg - 40, or even: 50-60 kg.
12. Weight belt with hook or carabiner
The weight belt is made of thick leather on a wide base, attached to the belt. A strap with a hook or carabiner for attaching the weight comes out of the belt. The weight can be in the form of a pancake from a barbell (5, 10, 15, 20 kg), a kettlebell, or other equipment of a certain weight. Using the belt, you can increase the load when pulling up on the crossbar, doing push-ups on parallel bars, performing hangs for a time, and other exercises, the performance of which does not interfere with the calm position of this belt with the load placed on the hook or carabiner.
13. Jump ropes
Jump ropes are designed exclusively for jumping exercises. Simple gymnastic ropes, selected in length for the athlete, are suitable for classes. Jumping exercises on a rope are performed both over the rope and near it, maintaining a rotational rhythm. Jumps can be performed forward and backward over the rope, adjusting the speed of rotation of the rope with your hands. A slow rhythm is used for warming up, high-speed jumps are a specially developing exercise for a horting athlete. Jumping on a rope develops coordination, agility and speed. The coach can give jumping tasks with a rope to one athlete, several, and even the whole group at the same time. Jumping exercises are used from early childhood to veteran age. The health-improving effect of jumping on a rope has a good effect on the formation of breathing in both children and adults.
14. Collapsible dumbbells
Collapsible dumbbells consist of a handle, pancakes and locking rings (clamps), can be children's - from 3 to 8 kg, and adult - from 4 to 30 kg, with pancakes of different thickness and diameter. Dumbbells are regulated by a set of pancakes and are included in the training process according to the tasks of loading different muscle groups. Dumbbells develop the muscles of the arms, upper shoulder girdle, back and chest. To achieve the training goal of loading, the trainer can provide tasks with heavy dumbbells, and for additional loading - with small and light ones. Warm-up is done with light dumbbells, and the weight is gradually increased to the main part of the training. Dumbbells when lifted up develop deltoid muscles, when using swings and acyclic exercises - any muscles, according to the tasks. With dumbbells, short runs are performed to accelerate, static exercises to hold dumbbells in the hands at the same height, pumping the biceps - bending the arms, triceps - extending them from behind the head upwards, running exercises for rhythm and time, etc.
15. Gymnastic sticks, light, weighted or wooden
Sticks can be plastic, light gymnastic sticks for training with young children, wooden poles for combat training classes 150 cm long, and weighted sticks made of a thick metal rod for training and gaining weight. With all types of sticks, you can do the same exercises, swinging the stick, jumping over the stick while holding it in your hands, striking movements forward, backward, above, below and to the side, pushing movements, performing rotations of the stick while holding it in your hands, etc. The coach can give exercises with sticks both individually to one athlete and collectively - to the whole group at the same time.
16. Have gymnastic mats
Gymnastic mats should be of the appropriate thickness to absorb shocks when an athlete falls to the floor. They are used to perform gymnastic and acrobatic exercises, forward, backward, sideways, flips, somersaults, and other highly coordinated exercises. Gymnastic mats are also used to ensure safety when performing exercises on other devices and machines. Mats are used to make flooring for gymnastic rings, parallel bars, climbing ropes, and others. On mats, you can simply perform exercises to strengthen the press, rotations and neck pumping, elbow and handstands, wrestling bridges, runs, somersaults, and practice opponent's throws. If necessary, you can use a flooring made of two layers of mats. Highly coordinated jumps must be performed on an additional flooring of mats and with additional insurance from the coach and senior athletes.
17. Tug of war
The tug-of-war rope is used both for two people and for collective tug-of-war by two teams. Such exercises develop hand grip strength, agility, stamina, coordination, as well as a sense of collectivism, responsibility for one's team and the amount of personal contribution that an athlete makes to the overall victory. Such a rope can be used both in an indoor stationary horting gym and outdoors. In nature and at collective sports holidays, tug-of-war competitions can become the center and entertainment for children's sports.
18. "Soft anvil" - a car tire with a hammer
"Soft anvil" - a car tire with a hammer develops the necessary coordination and impact qualities, allows the athlete to develop maximum strength when performing exercises and invest it in the blow. This is a car tire of a large truck, on which the athlete can hit from above, from the top right, from the top left with a light hammer (4-5 kg) with one hand and a heavy one (6-8 kg) with two hands. With the help of these exercises, the strength endurance of the muscles of the upper limbs, back and abdomen, the stability of the fighting stance are developed. For older athletes of large weight categories, the hammer can be made of a thick steel rod weighing 15-20 kg and 1.2 -1.5 m long. To perform the exercise with the hammer, it is necessary to have construction gloves for a while, so as not to tear calluses on the palms during the exercise. Impact approaches on the anvil can be performed both for time and for quantity. If the anvil (tire) has a large diagonal size and weight, then two men from opposite sides can work on it simultaneously.
19. Rubber expander, 4 m
The elastic band is manufactured in standard diameter, density and size and is sold in sports stores. It is desirable to have an elastic band 4 meters long for tying it in the middle to the step of the gymnastic ladder. In this case, a 2-meter-long end of the elastic band is taken in each hand - this is the distance from the place where the elastic band is attached. Exercises with the elastic band are performed both at light tension and at maximum tension. The recommended exercises can include turns for throws: on the front footboard, throw over the back, etc., impact exercises with the elastic band. The elastic band can be attached to both arms and legs, performing impact movements. In addition to special exercises, you can also perform general developmental exercises with the elastic band, pulling behind the back with two hands, or one hand at a time, pulling both ends of the elastic band with two hands at the same time, squatting with a taut elastic band, etc. Exercises with elastic bands help develop special coordination and practice the necessary efforts to perform throws and kicks. The stretching properties of the rubber band allow the athlete to feel the resistance when performing the action, that is, the more the rubber band is stretched, the stronger the resistance to the counteraction.
20. Heavy stuffed medical ball (1.5-4 kg)
Heavy stuffed balls can be of different weights and are used for athletes of different age groups: lighter ones for children, heavier ones for juniors and adults. The stuffed ball is adjusted according to the athlete's strength and is used both for performing individual exercises, tosses, rotations, holding in hands, pushes, and for pair exercises: throwing each other from below, from above over the head, from the side (left, right), from behind over the top, between the legs, pushing from the chest, etc. In order for the balls not to break on the floor, it is advisable to give exercises to athletes standing on a greyhound or gymnastic mats, and also try to catch the projectiles in the air without allowing them to fall too much to the floor. Stuffed balls can be both round and oval in shape.
21. Basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis ball
Game balls in the horting gym have a general developmental function, and can also be used to perform special exercises. In addition to basketball, football, volleyball games, where horting athletes receive loads and game skills, balls are used to train speed reaction, agility, speed, etc. Among children, a basketball can carry a medium load when throwing to each other from different positions. A soccer ball provides additional leg coordination skills when juggling and practicing strikes. A volleyball can be used for speed throwing at an athlete to train reaction to a blow, since the ball itself is light and in case of a collision will not be able to cause any bodily harm. A tennis ball is used for throwing and catching it for reaction and speed, as well as accuracy of hand grip. The good suitability of game balls is that working with them does not require additional introductions, and they can be practiced almost anywhere, both in a hall with a hard floor and in a soft one, on the street, on asphalt in sports shoes, in water (basketball), in a forest on a lawn, on the sand barefoot, etc. A good game method of practicing with the ball is provided in training with children of preschool and primary school age. Special games in rugby, football and basketball with elements of horting and the use of pushing, grabbing, dumping and holding have their own place in training among juniors and adults.
22. Scales (-25-30 kg +130-140 kg)
Sports scales are portable (floor-standing) and stationary. Scales in the gym can be mechanical, but for more accurate weighing, especially before a competition, they should be electronic. Scales should be selected specifically for sports activities and should have a wide range of weight measurements: from children's weight - 25-30 kg to adult weight of the heaviest weight category - 130-140 kg. Experienced athletes during the period of preparation for the competition constantly monitor the entire working weight, adjusting it to the date of weighing. Athletes who conduct a health training regimen should also be able to monitor weight changes before and after loads.
23. Sports expanders (spring, rubber, wrist)
Sports expanders, depending on the direction of effort, are for stretching, bending, twisting, and are made of various materials that provide resistance to force action, springs, rubber, mechanisms and other devices. The nadir of the expanders is placed in the gym in a place designated for them and is used to perform general developmental exercises with resistance. Sports expanders are means of individual training, work with them is assigned individually to the athlete to achieve a specific training task. Expanders can also be at home with athletes for self-training.
24. Stretching machine
The stretching machine is used individually. This machine is an essential tool for achieving stretching by horting athletes due to the fact that the stretching action is carried out during complete relaxation of the leg muscles and hip joint. The athlete sits on the platform, rests two supports on the knee joint and the inner part of the thigh, and uses a special lever in front of him to adjust the level of extension of the platforms on which the relaxed legs lie. The stretching machine is an ideal tool for those who want to achieve results in the shortest possible time. This is facilitated by the combination of a super-strong steel frame and high manufacturability of the product. Classes on the machine allow you to very quickly overcome the path from a beginner to the stretching of an average horting athlete. Soft pillows provide comfort during training. The machine allows you to reach a stretching level of 190°. After receiving a certain tensile load, it is necessary to get up from the machine and relax your legs, squat down and apply blows to the air and light blows to the bag to normalize the processes in the hip joint.
25. Neck strengthening gate
A neck strengthening gate is made independently from a leather collar 5-7 cm wide, slightly larger than the head, to which a belt, nylon cord or chain is attached, on which a rubber band for support or a load (weight or discs from a barbell) is attached. The athlete puts on the gate on his head (forehead area), lifts the load up and then slowly lowers it down. The gate is also put on with a focus on the forehead, an expander rubber band is attached behind, and the athlete walks forward against the resistance of the rubber band, the same exercise is performed sideways (left-right). An athlete lying on a bench, who has put his head beyond the boundaries of the bench, is put on a gate on his forehead, a pancake from a barbell weighing 5-10-15 kg is hung on the belt, the time of performing a static exercise to keep the head in a straight position is noted. There are many other neck strengthening exercises that use weights on the neck. Neck exercises develop the front, back, and side muscles of the neck, and teach the athlete to tolerate direct and lateral loads on the neck and head.
26. Gymnastic hoops
Gymnastic hoops are used to perform general developmental exercises for plasticity, flexibility, coordination when performing hoop rotations around the body, arms, legs, neck. For classes with younger children, hoops are also used in game training when performing hoop rolling on the floor, jumping through the hoop, hitting the ball into the hoop, performing simple rotations around the body, etc. Hoops are well used in classes with female athletes of any age, both girls and veterans and the elderly.
27. Gymnastic carpets, polyurethane tourist carpets
Carpets of any type are used in the training process as a means of bedding. Tracks can be laid under machines and equipment, tourist carpets are used individually by an athlete for bedding when performing exercises on the floor. Polyurethane carpets are lightweight, quickly unrolled or unfolded, made to the size of the human body, have a good shock absorption effect and moisture resistance, which justifies their convenience and frequent use in general developmental training classes. On such carpets you can pump the press in different positions: raise the torso to a sitting position and lower it, raise your legs up, lying on your back, etc.
28. Gymnastics "Goat" with a shock-absorbing platform
The gymnastic "Goat" with a shock-absorbing platform is used for jumping over it and thereby improving coordination skills, agility, and agility. Jumping over it also develops speed and courage. To perform the exercise, children must first thoroughly warm up their limbs, set it to the lowest possible position, cover the "Goat" with mats, and provide safety equipment near it.
29. Shock-absorbing mats for walls and columns
Shock-absorbing mats for walls and columns in a sports hall are placed to protect athletes from impacts against walls and columns. They are made of secondary foam rubber with a thickness of 2 to 5 cm, covered with PVC fabric. They are attached to walls and columns with special glue or screwed on bolts with soft hats. If the hall is specialized for horting, then it is possible to equip it from all sides with such mats, but in a hall for general sports use, for example, in an educational institution, such mats can be portable and installed for the duration of horting training, but all dangerous corners of the room must be protected from collision.
