The philosophy of combat horting connects the worldview of human life with humanistic universal values and combat and health-improving traditions of the Cossacks. Cossack traditions have deep historical roots and carry the patriotic content of a large philosophical component of the Ukrainian people. Even in ancient times, the Cossacks had a teaching about the ability to live in a collective among people. Such teaching indicates that according to the traditions of the Cossacks, a person should live in society in such a way that he can always count on help if necessary, even when it becomes a question of life and death. Such attitudes among the Cossacks were sung in folk songs and revealed in folk art. The cultural and combat traditions of our people had a broad philosophical coloring, which indicates the further development of folk art in poetry and writing. The origins of combat horting are associated with this philosophy and the wisdom of our ancestors. In a general sense, the worldview knowledge about the meaning of life can begin to be revealed by substantiating the need for philosophical knowledge for each person.
Martial arts devoid of worldview and philosophy transforms and disappears at the moment of falling demand for it. Schools of martial arts existed among the Slavic peoples before, but under the pressure of objective conditions they disappeared, settling within the boundaries of individual Cossack clans. Speaking about the worldview and philosophical foundations of combat horting, we must admit that we do not have the opportunity to speak unequivocally about the content of such in ancient Slavic martial arts, and not enough written sources have been preserved except for isolated mentions of the extraordinary fighting qualities of Cossack warriors from the island of Khortytsia. But we are talking about today, when we have gained some experience, when we have seen that the construction of a combat system should be based on deep philosophical principles that are rooted in the fighting traditions of the Ukrainian people. Martial arts practice has shown that it is the presence of a philosophical basis that determines the value of martial arts, ensures its longevity, transformation and ability to self-improvement. Putting martial arts at the level of ordinary training and pumping up muscle strength without a philosophical basis means losing the martial tradition again.
Martial arts as a martial art is built on a philosophical worldview that promotes self-awareness. It is impossible to overestimate the role of martial arts in the process of forming a person’s character. This role is especially strengthened today because the single ideological priorities of the state have been lost, and young people are practically left to their own devices. It is the national sport of martial arts, built on a universal worldview, that can become an educational system for children, youth and youth in Ukraine, which is able to influence the minds of adolescents, distract them from bad habits, and direct them to a healthy life. The plurality of philosophical knowledge at the same time characterizes it as worldview knowledge. A worldview is a system of extremely generalized views on the world and a person’s place in it, on a person’s attitude to the surrounding reality and to himself. The life positions of people, their beliefs, principles of cognition and activity, value orientations and ideals determined by these views also belong to a worldview. All this is not just knowledge, but also a person’s assessment of the world and himself. The value character of worldview knowledge is determined by the combination of the intellectual-mental component with the sensory-emotional component. This indicates the presence of constant impulses to action in its content, which gives its form the character of a life program, and worldview knowledge itself the feature of conviction. A worldview is a kind of integrity of knowledge and values, reason and feeling, intellect and actions, critical doubt and conscious conviction. In this sense, combat horting is a means of spiritual development and an influential factor in the formation of a person’s worldview. A person does not necessarily have to be physically strong to comprehend the path of self-improvement. According to natural data, not every student of combat horting can give strength, but everyone can show how vulnerable he is. Perhaps it is not easy to realize the idea of peace according to the philosophy of combat horting, as it requires changes inside, in the character of the student, but this is the only approach worth attention. The incredible variety of techniques and subtlety of tactical means of combat horting make you feel like an eternal beginner.
Horting can be as deep as you intend to know it. It is a real source of energy and understanding, a guide that guides every aspect of your life. But if you want to focus exclusively on the practical aspects of combat horting, you can unwisely introduce something into your sports life that you will ultimately regret, and you will have to return to the beginning of knowledge again and again. And there is much that you will never be able to learn. The integral nature of the worldview of a combat horting athlete implies its structural complexity, the presence of various levels in it, among which the following levels are distinguished first of all: emotional-psychological, as a worldview, and cognitive-intellectual, as a worldview. Sometimes they also separate such a level as world perception, which includes the experience of forming cognitive ideas about the world using visual images. It can be said that a worldview is a generally systematized complex of ideas, assessments, and attitudes that provide a holistic vision and comprehension of the world and a person's place in it with their life positions, programs that contribute to their active actions. In this way, the worldview integrates the cognitive, value, and motivational-activity attitude of a combat horting athlete.
A worldview is not reduced to a set of ready-made, once-and-for-all given truths. It is in a constant process of improvement. The theoretical basis for this is the recognition of the dialectical relationship between absolute and relative truths. The consequences of recognizing absolute truth should be confidence in the fundamental possibility of knowing the world, and relative truth should be constant doubts, searches, work on improving one's worldview, and tolerance in relation to others. In the life of a modern person, the meanings of many cultures are combined, generating a meaningful perspective of a personal, individual attitude to life that is being comprehended. The ability and ability to comprehend the surrounding world and one's own life appears in a person's interaction with the outside world, in communication with other people and oneself.
Both in the process of learning and understanding the skills of combat horting, the upbringing of ethical and volitional qualities of the individual, and in everyday life, a person comprehends and endows with meanings everything that surrounds him, as well as his own actions, deeds, the moral significance of his activities for self-affirmation. At a certain level of emotional and psychological maturity of the individual in the structure of the self-consciousness of a combat horting athlete, a need arises, the satisfaction of which is a complex and necessary task: comprehending the existence of a person and determining the meaning of his own life, his purpose, vocation. If we turn to the philosophical and ethical justification of the meaning of human life, it turns out that many modern ideas, theoretical studies on this issue in their justifications are reduced to the ideas of the past, filled with the specific content of a given historical time, its culture. Even in the process of self-education in combat horting, a person learns to analyze techniques and sports techniques from the point of view of philosophy, issues of origin, as well as the cultural heritage of ancestors. Ancient philosophers argued that the meaning of life is contained in those forms and means of life that ennoble, elevate a person above his natural existence. Reason, knowledge, the ability to do good prevent the spontaneous flow of life and order the aspirations and goals of a person. Therefore, the meaning of life is seen in the improvement of one's mind, one's aspirations and abilities, as those that provide a higher good. The philosophical and religious understanding of the meaning of life in the Middle Ages, which supplanted the anthropocentric views of ancient philosophers, linked the values of human life with the otherworldly, divine world and subordinated the meaning-life choice of a person to the will of the gods. The Renaissance with new energy activated the problem of substantiating the meaning of life of a real person as a creative individuality, capable of being whoever he wants. The question of the purpose of a person, the significance of his life, the meaning of his activity is invariably raised by philosophical and ethical thought.
The question of the meaning of life, which arises before every thinking person, always has a past – in historical experience, and its novelty – in the consciousness and self-awareness of a particular individual. In the search for the meaning of life, the positions of others are unacceptable for a person, because it will not be his own, but someone else's meaning. Undoubtedly, personal meaning is not formed in isolation from society, its values and ideals, which a person masters in the process of forming consciousness and self-awareness. But it is impossible to study, to educate the meaning of life, and each person needs his own life meaning, the possibility of which lies in the plane of individual desire, conscious search and affirmation as a result of the individual's independent creativity. Despite the fact that, as sociological research shows, the meanings of life of different people are quite typical, each of them is individual, unique, unique in emotional and meaningful content, just as each person is unique and unrepeatable. The meaning of life is closely related to the main purpose of human life. The main or ultimate goal of life is a stable, essential goal that expresses the fundamental interests of the individual, in relation to which all other intermediate life goals serve as a means. The goal of life acts as a leading guide to life activity, connecting the latter with the ideal of the individual. And it is in this quality that the goal of life is close to the concept of the meaning of life, but is not identical to it.
Determining the goal of life is one of the means of realizing its meaning. The merger of the ideal and the goal gives meaning to a person's life. It is clear that with the development of a person, the meaning of life can change. This is due to material, social, spiritual changes, experience, and the consequence is a change in needs, value orientations, ideals. The material foundations of life play a significant role in forming the meaning of life positions. In modern reality, we have the opportunity to observe how economic instability in society and the social problems that arise because of it deform the life orientations of many people, regardless of age and gender. The content of the meaning of life is a kind of reflection of historical conditions and opportunities for a person to realize himself. Under conditions of limited opportunities to satisfy elementary needs, modern man loses faith in the value of the tasks of social progress, increasingly closing himself off to the problems of life support, the solution of which determines his life goals. The meaning of life can be defined as a stable, dominant orientation of moral consciousness, which is directly manifested in the social activity of an individual or social group and has social value. The meaning of life determines the leading value orientations and strategic goals as the ultimate foundations of the choice of a way of life. The basis of an individual choice of the meaning of life is the reflection in a person's consciousness of the objective foundations of human existence, overcoming contradictions between the requirements of the social ideal and the content of his own activity, subjective plans and objective results and, finally, the level of understanding and justification of his purpose and calling, setting goals and prospects for his own life and the context of the life of society, social group, and reference environment. Having a meaning of life, a person becomes happy.
Happiness is the highest manifestation of the realization of the meaning of life of an individual. Without realizing the meaning of human existence, it is impossible to understand how a person can be happy.
In the ideas about happiness, the emotional, sensual side of moral consciousness prevails, reflecting a high degree of inner satisfaction of a person with all his life activities or with its individual moments based on the self-realization of personal needs and abilities, interests and goals, desires and ideals. Determining the normative content of happiness has been the main task since its inception. Thinkers sought to derive a general concept of true human happiness from many individual ideas. Someone believed that happiness is not joy, pleasure at all, it is in something else: in the inner state of the soul, in the possession of virtues, the main of which is justice. Only a person with a beautiful soul, just, one whose soul is not affected by evil, or, having yielded, seeks to free himself from evil. Real, genuine happiness is caring for one's soul, focusing on reason, truth, and kindness, striving to always remain human, to preserve one's inner dignity.
It is believed that happiness is charity, and the highest virtue is justice. It is justice that is the key to happiness, justice is found in the state that unites all people into a single whole, that curbs individualism in its negative manifestations and is able to ensure happiness. Someone believed: the beauty of sensual pleasure, enthusiasm for life - these are the values of the human soul, which is not eternal, it disintegrates, disappears in eternity, and happiness is an earthly, life-long phenomenon. However, insisting on pleasure, scientists imposed prohibitions and norms of reason on the living and bright element of feelings, claiming that if you live wisely and morally, you can live pleasantly. Bliss and happiness are the path to freedom, liberation from fears, sorrows, suffering. A person must free himself from fears of the unknown - the will of the gods, years, fate - and open the way to faith in himself. It is one's own freedom from fears and prohibitions that makes a person happy. And a happy person will not do evil. The most beautiful traits in a person are service to duty, loyalty to it despite passion, movement towards success. Happiness is a moral category, it is given to a person for a moral and worthy life. It is directly related to the purpose of a person. The purpose of a person as a rational, spiritual being is in his ability to actively intervene in external circumstances, to subjugate them to himself, to freely choose his fate, to join the world of human culture. On this path, a person encounters many contradictions, but reason allows him not to hide from them, but to overcome adversity.
Happiness breaks through torment and suffering, it actively, actively works for its realization. In the pursuit of the ideal, a person is getting closer and closer to real, true happiness. Deriving the formula for happiness is a classic philosophical problem. Multiple attempts to implement theoretical schemes of universal happiness did not end in success. New theoretical schemes did not meet the needs of the majority. The philosophical formula of happiness assumes that happiness is not easy, difficult, the ability to be happy under any conditions of life and ascribes to those who desire happiness, to beware of external goods, limit their needs, and avoid pleasures. Everyday ideas about happiness, on the contrary, hope for luck, a happy coincidence of circumstances, to achieve everything that attracts and what one would like to have. These two sides of happiness always coexist in the public consciousness, confirming and refuting each other, transforming into personal understandings. The peculiarity of happiness is that there are no frameworks for it, it is always new, unexpected, unique, it is in constant movement and formation. One person's understanding of happiness does not coincide with another's.
This is due to the fact that happiness is subjective, individual in the form of experience, but objective in its content. As a concept of moral consciousness, happiness in its objective content is based on some general ideas and patterns of a happy life that are present in social experience and directly affect individual dreams, tasks, ideals. For example, satisfaction with one's work, the joy of communicating with friends, the happiness of family life, etc., are mediated by the objective social and moral value of these forms of human life - work, friendship, family, etc. Undoubtedly, happiness is a state of mind. Happiness is not in always doing what you want, but in wanting what you do. Obviously, the first thing that determines happiness is the ability to feel it. To be happy means to be yourself, to realize yourself in a state of satisfaction with life, its individual acts, the achievement of the set goal, which is a sign of the depth and talent of the personality, that is, the ability to be happy. The experience of happiness is undoubtedly associated with the state of elevation of vital forces, abilities, creative achievement, embodiment of life's plan, that is, happiness is a sensual and emotional form of the possibilities of self-realization of the individual, which, in turn, is based on the general goals, meanings and ideals of life. Happiness is a feeling, awareness and integral positive attitude of a person to his moral activity based on his own understanding of the meaning of life, which is experienced in the form of an optimistic mood, satisfaction with the fullness of his being, the realization of goals. The meaning of life, happiness, duty are the results of the value assimilation of complex connections, contradictions, essences of social and cultural realities, which reflect the moral attitude towards man. Reflecting the specifics of being, creativity and relationships of a social person, they carry an informational and motivational load that orients human consciousness to the development of moral forms of life.
People who practice combat horting are no exception. Every athlete who achieves a certain success sooner or later begins to think about the essence of his life. Simple but very important questions arise before him. At first - how to achieve even greater sporting success, win competitions, by what means this is achieved. But later more complex questions arise for himself - what next, is it all for the good, and why is self-improvement necessary at all by means of combat horting, which he voluntarily chose at this time. A person on the path of self-improvement in martial arts begins to look for meaning in everything he does. You need to look for the essence of the things you do in yourself. He does not live anywhere else. What depends on himself, everyone directs himself. Many people consider the meaning of their life to be permissiveness and money, to live for their own pleasure, and then it is not a pity to die. But a person who is brought up in the sport of combat horting, rightly strives for more - for self-knowledge. Understanding the philosophy of combat horting comes to such a person through complex trials and tests of himself, physical exertion, competitive activity, gradual physical and spiritual training and understanding of his strength and willpower.
Having reached a certain level of willpower, a person uses them to overcome any life difficulties in his personal life and everyday life. In this regard, even a mediocre combat horting athlete notices which qualities contribute to the development of the personality, and which, on the contrary, contribute to its degradation. In his life, there are more questions than answers, but the interest in revealing the essence, which has already settled in the soul of a novice athlete, attracts him to more active training and self-exertion, through which he becomes stronger and more educated. Questions begin to open doors for a person only when faith in the path of self-improvement has already arisen in his soul. He ceases to be struck by the craving for bad habits, becomes moderate in expressing negative emotions or ceases to perceive the world negatively at all. He begins to perceive his troubles and obstacles in life as a normal and moderate test that he can handle. Having received a higher level of physical fitness during training in the educational spiritual environment of combat horting, a person becomes positively tuned to his entire future life. Even losing something important and essential in life, a person learns to see in this a new path and a chance for a new life full of meaning and prospects. There are many examples when people go to the goal of accumulating money and pleasure, but having received all this in abundance, even more dissatisfaction came. The question arises: so how much do you need to have to be happy? Understanding that one must change one's attitude towards circumstances is an important level of self-improvement, because together with dissatisfaction or after it, circumstances may come that will stop a meaningless life and put a person before choosing a path, circumstances from which a person will no longer be able to hide or pretend that there is no problem.
The realization of a person's inner potential comes through actions. Actions have certain consequences, far from always the ones we want. We will have to bear responsibility for our own decisions. This is the principle of the philosophy of combat horting for a particular person. Everyone wants to make decisions, but responsibility for them scares some. By the way, this is the main reason for the popularity of computer games. The game gives the illusion of the possibility of making decisions with a complete lack of responsibility for their outcome. Whatever path we choose in the game, in case of a mistake, the only thing that threatens us is lost time and reloading the game from the last place of memorization. The wrong decision will not affect anything else. But on the way to a practical understanding of life and the worldview of a student of combat horting, the question of the meaning of life, the usefulness of a person’s life for his family, surrounding people and society as a whole always arises.
Philosophy as wisdom, aimed at the knowledge of the most general, essential and eternal, makes it possible to reveal the natural connections of psychology and pedagogy in the matter of educating the will-power qualities of the individual. Combat horting includes all the necessary conditions for the harmonious upbringing of such qualities by its means, which are clearly established and formed into a certain educational law. For what is a law according to its principle? A law is a relationship between entities, the most general, established connection between things, which is repeated under appropriate conditions and is objective, internal, necessary, general and essential. Since philosophy is engaged in clarifying this, to that extent it is related to wisdom. Wisdom, thus, is an important feature of philosophy, which comprehends reality on the basis of knowledge of the most general connections, causes, trends of development and their practical objective use. Wisdom is nothing more than the ability to use knowledge in practice - the art of living. Such an art of living, a harmonious combination of practice and theory, is professed by the philosophy of martial horting, which is clearly aimed at cultivating strong-willed qualities, tempering the body and spirit of students engaged in martial arts.
So, philosophy as wisdom clarifies the most general, fundamental problems of the existence of the world; the origin and root cause of being; it is aimed at knowing the general, established, necessary connections between entities - regular connections. Thus, wisdom as a philosophical phenomenon is a form of spiritual and practical comprehension of reality, clarifying the causes, trends in the development of all essential things, predicting the consequences of this development based on a combination of intellect and practical experience.
The problem of forming the spirituality of students is relevant in the training activities of martial horting, belongs to the problem of a social nature, since it is associated with such a concept as the formation of personality. Nowadays, one can very often hear calls for raising human consciousness and educating a true personality. And the impetus and basis for this is, first of all, the upbringing of a spiritual personality. A combat horting coach needs to worry about the spiritual world of an athlete while he is still young. It is when the education system in the country works like this that the country will see children and youth tempered in sports as a driving force capable of solving the problems of the state not for their own personal benefit, future leaders of society with their highest moral, aesthetic canons and ideals. After all, the spiritual renewal of our society depends on the attitude towards cultural achievements.
Our society is experiencing a period of rapid far-reaching changes, technological progress, international trade, development of communications, global competition. All this requires adherence to high moral virtues. Therefore, the education of an athlete in combat horting is carried out purposefully, based on cultural and combat traditions, through overcoming physical challenges, athletes are educated in perseverance and other strong-willed qualities, the will to win, and a person is educated who would resist economic difficulties, spiritual degradation, moral and physical exhaustion in a difficult time of life. Combat horting is the center of education that can influence the student spiritually. The problem of forming the spirituality of conscious and healthy people is one of the main problems of our state. Mastering spiritual values by combat horting athletes raises the consciousness of the individual to a higher level, fills life and activity with high public goals. Spirituality strengthens the unity of the entire society, ensures overcoming difficulties on the path of its development. It is the general education and sports school that is able to shape the future generation. Drawing conclusions, we must speak about the importance and harmony of a person's inner world, his physical and spiritual state as a citizen of the state, prepared for useful professional activity.
