Education and development of human volitional activity through horting

Will, like the entire mental world, is not a supernatural force, but arises and develops in the process of life and upbringing of a combat horting athlete. The development of volitional regulation of behavior is inextricably linked with the development of motives. Children are characterized by instability of motives, their dependence on the immediate situation, which causes impulsiveness and unsystematic actions. At subsequent age stages, situational motives are combined into more stable formations with a gradual transition to a single motivational system that determines the direction of the athletes' behavior.

At the same time, there is a development of conscious volitional regulation of behavior and overall personality activity. A combat horting athlete acquires the ability to evaluate himself in order to be guided in his behavior not by random impulses, but by a system of learned and accepted rules and norms of moral behavior.

The activity of volitional self-affirmation begins in adolescence. For teenagers, the education of strong will by means of combat horting often acts as an end in itself. This is a period of complex and contradictory formation of the willful qualities of the personality. Purposefulness, independence, determination, with which the athlete overcomes difficulties on the way to achieving the goal, indicate that he is gradually transforming from an object of the will of other people into a subject of his own will. But whether this process will take positive forms or perversions will begin to arise depends on the education system.

For adolescent athletes, further intensive development of willful qualities and, accordingly, the relative completeness of their formation are characteristic. Willful qualities become components and traits of personality. In the behavior of the athlete, stability in the distribution of willful efforts in accordance with dominant interests is manifested.

Volitional activity already meets social requirements. But what exactly are the volitional qualities, and at what stage of completion they are included in the structure of the personality's character - this depends on many circumstances, including the course of the process of sports self-affirmation, on social choice and self-determination in youth, on the self-education of each individual.

The upbringing of will is, in fact, the process of educating the personality of a combat horting athlete in general, and not a certain one quality. The starting points of educating the athlete's will are:

the correct combination of conscious persuasion with demanding behavior of the athlete;

ensuring the real impact of the requirements on the life relationships of the combat horting athlete with others, as well as on his attitude towards himself;

the combination of conscious persuasion with the organization of practical experience of the athlete performing volitional actions and deeds.

Positive significance for the development of will in a combat horting athlete is given to purposeful exercises associated with the conscious desire of the individual to learn to control himself, to master a strong-willed way of behavior. An important condition for the development of will is an interest in self-education of will. There are many ways to develop the willful regulation of an individual's behavior in everyday life situations.

Every action can be turned into an exercise if it is performed consciously, and not out of habit or a sense of duty. The purpose of will is to direct, and not to force to do something. Here are some techniques for exercising and developing the will of a combat horting athlete:

do something that you have never done before;

plan something, and then carry out your plan;

continue doing what you were doing for another five minutes, even when you get tired and you begin to be attracted to something else;

do something slowly;

when it is easier to say “yes” but more correct to say “no”, say “no”;

do what you think is most important right now;

in the most insignificant situations of choice, make it without hesitation;

act contrary to all expectations;

refrain from saying what you are pushed to say;

postpone what you prefer to do right now, first do what you wanted to postpone;

do one exercise every day for a month, even if it seems disadvantageous to you.
Every athlete needs to work on developing willpower. Train your mind and willpower the same way a person trains their body. This was well understood by all the outstanding people who worked hard to strengthen their willpower in their youth. Work on yourself constantly. Increase your level of knowledge. Make a schedule of classes by day and hour. Make a list of books you plan to read in your diary. Set rules of conduct for yourself and monitor their implementation. Make your own personal rules for developing willpower. Include a clear daily routine, a certain diet, which you will adhere to throughout your life.

The team, the opinion of others, and their positive influence on the behavior of a combat horting athlete help in developing willpower. Daily work, including educational and training activities, can also be a good school for strengthening willpower. If there are difficulties in training, work, or study, then overcoming them is an effective means of developing strong-willed qualities.

To develop willpower, a combat horting athlete needs constant systematic work on himself, which must be started as early as possible. It must be remembered that strong-willed qualities are formed in strong-willed activity. Work has always been and will be the best means of strengthening willpower.

It is very important to bring every matter to the end, to think over one's actions, not to make impossible decisions, but if a decision is made, it is necessary to achieve its implementation. The development of willpower depends on the goal that the athlete sets for himself. Awareness of the goal can temper the will. It is also necessary to develop the habit of witnessing for oneself, to control one's training activities, work and behavior. It is necessary to train willpower, first of all, by overcoming one's shortcomings.

Every sporting and life success in this regard instills in the athlete self-confidence, makes him more strong-willed. This is also facilitated by the correct lifestyle of a combat horting athlete, daily routine, general strengthening of the nervous system, physical and mental hardening, which consists in constant training of one's willpower.

Methods of self-education of will can be diverse, but they all include compliance with the following requirements:

one should start by acquiring the habit of overcoming relatively unknown difficulties;

any self-justification is very dangerous, which is considered deception, first of all, oneself;

difficulties and obstacles should be overcome persistently;

the decision made must be implemented to the end;

a separate goal should be divided into stages, outline immediate goals, the achievement of which creates conditions for approaching the final goal;

the strictest adherence to the daily routine, the routine of the whole life, realizing that willpower, like any other quality, requires education and training.

Perseverance is one of the most important strong-willed qualities of an athlete, because society and the state cannot exist and normally perform their functions without a certain system of humanistic strong-willed, moral and spiritual values of citizens. Analyzing the philosophical aspects of the education of strong-willed qualities in combat horting, it is possible to note the targeted orientation of all programs and methods of training athletes to achieve both high sports results and harmonious development of a personality, brought up on the principles of decency and respect for others, which is expressed in the famous slogan of combat horting “Strength and Honor!”.

Such a philosophical attitude to the self-education of an athlete comes through achieving a goal in sports life and even in his everyday life. The methodology for educating strong-willed qualities of a personality in combat horting is combined with well-known scientific developments on this issue.

Scientists and experts of the scientific and methodological board of the National Federation of Combat Horting of Ukraine claim that combat horting classes not only expand the range of functional capabilities, but also develop the ability to overcome difficulties and obstacles. In the process of combat horting classes, athletes develop a number of important abilities and strong-willed qualities, including: perseverance, discipline, independence, endurance, courage, determination, initiative, purposefulness, etc.
