How to become a strong-willed person

This is, first of all, a person who knows how to control his consciousness. And this is a person who reacts to everything that happens to him only positively. Notice that negative thoughts also give rise to negative states in the body. What leads to negative thoughts and how can negative thoughts be transformed into positive ones? It turned out that negative thoughts are caused by fears, worries about the past, and self-pity.
Therefore, it is possible to avoid such negative feelings thanks to the rules of a strong person.
Very often, our fears in life turn out to be imaginary. We are afraid of losing our job when there is no real danger of losing it. We are afraid of getting sick when there is no reason to be afraid. We are afraid of troubles, although they might not happen.
The first rule of a strong person: do not run away from fear.
Of course, there are real fears. But you cannot run away from them, you cannot hide, hide. You need to honestly look your fear in the face. You need to admit it to yourself. You need to understand it and analyze it. The fear that you have looked straight into the eyes is no longer scary. The fear that you are afraid to look into the eyes of can actually kill you. Watch your fears. Determine what you are afraid of in life. Look your fears in the eyes and understand that you do not need to give in to them.
What does it mean to look fear in the eyes openly? This means to imagine in reality what could happen if what you are afraid of comes true in reality. You need to imagine the worst possible scenario. Imagine - and experience it in your imagination as fully as possible. This will give you unpleasant moments. But you will get rid of fear. After all, what we have already experienced ceases to scare us.
For example, when you realize that you are very afraid of diseases because you must die from them, think: but if this is still inevitable, why not imagine how it will all be? And start imagining a picture of how you become weaker and weaker, how you can no longer walk, how terrible pain overcomes you, how your relatives take care of you, how they cry in front of you... The pictures that arise before your eyes should be so vivid that you cannot hold back your tears... When you calm down, you will understand that your fear has gone somewhere. You have already "died" in your imagination - and in this way you have freed yourself from the fear of death. Having freed yourself from the fear of death, you will become stronger in spirit. A strong spirit will help you cope with diseases and continue your life. It turns out that by looking into the eyes of fear, we give up power and authority over ourselves not only to the fear itself, but also to what causes it. Looking into the eyes of the fear of death, you will deprive death itself of power over you.
We often feel sorry for ourselves. And each time self-pity deprives us of strength, does not bring relief, but makes us suffer even more. You must understand that self-pity is a waste of strength and energy. And you need strength and energy for a full-fledged life.
Therefore, the second rule of a strong person: do not waste your strength on self-pity.
Self-pity, resentment towards life exhaust and devastate us, and give absolutely nothing in return. They force us to move in a vicious circle, returning to the same bitter thoughts for years and not allowing us to break out into the light, freedom, hope and optimism.
Many resentments and regrets about the past also force us to waste our strength in vain and distance us from healing. When you learn about your illness, you begin to recall the blissful days of early childhood, when you did not yet know that you were sick and felt happy. You resent life and fate and regret your irrevocable childhood until you realize that in this way your condition is only worsening and the end is approaching. Stop regretting the past and direct all your thoughts to the future, trying to shape it as you would like to see it, that is, happy and healthy.
Hence the third rule of a strong person: do not live in the past.
Remember: it is never too late to start all over again. But in order to start changing, to start a new life, you need to let go of the past, no matter whether it was good or bad. You cannot live with the burden of past losses and failures. You cannot live with regret about past fleeting happiness. This takes away strength and deprives you of hope for the future. It's all gone - so let it go peacefully, don't try to get it back, you won't succeed anyway. Live for today.
The consequences of these rules follow:
1. Don't dwell on the bad. Create a treasure trove of good memories in your memory and return more often to the good that was in your life, but without regrets, but only with joy that it was, and it turns out, stayed with you forever. Dream about the good. Make plans, learn to see the good in the life around you and not focus on the bad.
2. Learn to forgive. A person who carries a mountain of resentment cannot be healthy. Forgiveness is saying goodbye to the bitterness of resentment, to pain, to sad memories, to everything bad and undesirable that happened in your life. Do not hold a grudge against offenders and enemies, do not harbor plans for revenge. Remember that the best revenge is contempt. Disdain resentment and offenders, do not carry them in yourself, do not think about them.
Be healthy!
