All health measures (jogging, exercises to revitalize capillaries, improve blood supply to the brain, proper breathing, skin healing and restoration...) not only strengthen physical health, but also temper the will, give a person strength, endow him with a powerful and healthy nervous system. To be healthy, you need to be strong mentally and spiritually. It is known that illness is the fate of the weak in spirit, health is the fate of the strong in spirit.
But we can say it differently: illness is given to us not as a punishment, but as a lesson, so that, having gone through it, we become strong in spirit and recover. Therefore, do not treat illness as a punishment - treat it as an opportunity to become stronger.
Mental health - heart and blood vessel health
It is your illnesses that encourage you to take care of your health - physical and spiritual. Your first victory on this path should be a firm determination to overcome illness and death, to overcome anything, for this you must temper your spirit. Make recovery the main thing in your life, and devote all your efforts to this, not giving yourself any indulgences and not allowing yourself to deviate from this path, no matter what temptations arise before you. There will be many temptations: laziness and weakness of the body from diseases; traditional cuisine, familiar and tasty, but harmful; unwillingness to develop physically - in general, all the usual habits of an unhealthy lifestyle. Overcoming each of these habits, we develop will, temper the nervous system, become stronger in spirit. A person strong in spirit is a person who has a large supply of nervous and mental energy. Such a person is largely saved from atherosclerosis and the associated heart attack, stroke, and senile dementia. She retains a clear mind and high working capacity until the last years of her life.
A person who is strong in spirit feels in unity with all living things, perceives himself as a part of all that exists, and it will be natural for him to protect not only his health, but also the surrounding nature.
Strength of spirit, nervous and mental strength really strengthen the blood vessels and the heart. It may be hard to believe this, but it is true. A person who is strong in spirit establishes a connection with the whole world through his heart, it is with his heart that he opens himself to the world and nature, it is thanks to an open heart that he begins to respond to the higher laws of nature (after all, these laws can only be perceived with the heart - not the mind), and therefore recovers.
People have always known about the special significance of the heart. The heart has always been considered a symbol of the best qualities of the human soul. In Christianity, ascetics created an imaginary Jesus prayer in their heart for their spiritual transformation. In Buddhism there is a "Doctrine of the Heart", which professes the path of sacrificial love. All the most powerful energies of life pass through the heart, which is the largest laboratory where the transformation of human consciousness takes place. The heart is the center of psychic and nervous energy.
Therefore, only with an open heart to the laws of nature and vital energies, the world and the universe and all that exists is its health possible, the health of blood vessels, blood and the whole organism. And this means that health is possible only with a strong spirit that opens the heart to the laws of nature. After all, only a person with a strong spirit can truly open his heart to the world - a weak person, a person who is timid and wants to hide from the world cannot do this. Become strong in spirit. Without this, it is difficult for the heart, blood vessels, and blood to become healthy.
A person who has high spiritual strength is constantly in a state of mental balance, lives wisely and meaningfully. When we have sufficient nervous strength, we are full of enthusiasm and happiness, health and self-confidence, we are ready to overcome all difficulties and accept every challenge of fate with dignity. We are not afraid of problems, because a strong person knows that he can cope with them.
What is needed to become a strong spirit?
First, to create powerful nervous strength in oneself, and secondly, to have a strong mind in a strong body. And to have a strong mind means to be able to control one's consciousness and direct it in the right direction.
Life is like a huge river, consisting of two streams that flow in opposite directions. One stream carries us to health, happiness, strength, wisdom. The other - to illness, premature old age, misfortunes, weakness and failures. People do not realize that they ultimately choose which stream to swim with on the river of life. If we become masters of our consciousness, make it a steerable boat that sails where we need it, we fall into a happy stream of health and success. If we do not know how to own ourselves and our consciousness, the current carries us into an unhappy stream of diseases and bad weather.
What is this magical river, what does it consist of, what kind of water? The "water" of this river is nothing more than our own thoughts and feelings. Positive thoughts and feelings create a happy stream. Negative thoughts and feelings carry us into an unhappy stream. We choose the stream ourselves, choosing our thoughts and feelings. After all, thoughts and feelings do not depend at all on the events and circumstances of the surrounding reality, as many people think. Thoughts and feelings depend on us - we ourselves choose certain thoughts and feelings in certain circumstances. Pay attention: different people in the same circumstances think and feel differently! Someone in trouble is sad and cries, and someone in exactly the same situation is filled with strength, determination and acts. It turns out that thoughts and feelings depend not on circumstances, but on the person. It turns out that if we approach the matter consciously and become the masters of our thoughts and feelings, we can choose how we feel and what to think about in a given situation, in certain circumstances. Then circumstances do not control us, but we become their masters, and it turns out that, ultimately, we are the masters of ourselves, our lives, our fate and health.
A developed consciousness is able to control our thoughts and feelings, choose the necessary ones and cut off the harmful ones. We can make our thoughts and feelings work for us, not against us. Just as physical strength is achieved through gymnastics and physical exercises, so is strength of spirit, development of consciousness achieved through training.
