In the educational process of the combat horting club, the following main forms of organizing children's education are used: educational and recreational classes in the sport of combat horting, specially organized educational activities (theoretical classes on the theory and methodology of combat horting), combat horting competitions (at the request of the pupils), games, independent activities of the pupils (artistic, motor, game, labor, research, etc.), individual work, observations, excursions, hikes, holidays and entertainment, clubs of a different profile, etc. They can be organized frontally, in subgroups, individually depending on the age of the pupils, pedagogical goal, material and technical support of the institution, professional skills of the teacher.
The main form of organized educational and educational activity of the pupils of the combat horting club remains classes from various sections of the curriculum (thematic, complex, combined, integrated, dominant, etc.).
The duration of a specially organized theoretical activity (theoretical lesson in combat horting) for pupils aged 5 to 7 years is up to 25–30 minutes, for pupils aged 7 to 9 years – from 45 to 60 minutes (1–2 group lessons per week), for pupils aged 10 to 21 years – two full lessons of 45 minutes each with a break of 15 minutes (2–3 group lessons per week).
When drawing up the lesson schedule, it is necessary to take into account their dominant load in the first half of the day (mental, physical, emotional), to provide for a rational alternation of types of activity (physical, mental, motor, practical-applied) in each of them and to make appropriate use of places for conducting lessons (in particular, a sports and music hall, studio rooms, a swimming pool, a playground, a sports ground, a museum, etc.).
Organized educational activities of pupils in the form of educational conversations are planned mainly in the first half of the lesson with the transition to a health-improving physical activity. In some cases, it is allowed to conduct some theoretical classes without continuing the practical part. The teacher's educational speech should be aimed at achieving the goal of both the general educational preparatory composition and the goal of this lesson. This may apply to classes using heavy bags (punching), using the pool (swimming), and visual activities in groups of pupils aged 5 to 7 years. Elements of educational activities are also included in other forms of work with young athletes in everyday classes (exercise, games, independent activity, individual work, observation, shifts, etc.).
When organizing the educational activities of a combat horting group, it is important to systematically use tasks from the theory of solving inventive problems, testing new combat horting techniques, experimental research activities, problem-solving situations and other methods and techniques that have proven themselves positively in modern didactics. Verbal, visual and practical methods should be combined, and due place should be given to productive activities in which the student is capable of self-improvement of physical fitness and obtaining knowledge of combat horting, self-expression and self-realization (personal favorite techniques, drawing, modeling, construction, artistic work), as well as recreational, sports and physical education, competitive, other motor, musical activities. Taking into account the different levels of intellectual development and differences in the direction of cognitive interests of individual athletes, it is advisable to differentiate work with them both in group classes and in everyday life, uniting children into subgroups and selecting for each of them separate exercises and techniques of combat horting, educational material of different content and complexity, and appropriate methods and techniques.
Given that the leading activity in early childhood is play, play is widely used in the educational process of a children's combat horting club as an independent form of work with students and as an effective means and method of development, upbringing and training in other organizational forms. Priority is given to health and sports games, collective children's relay races, creative games (physical education, story-role-playing, construction and constructive, dramatization games and staging, games with elements of labor and artistic and creative activity) and games with rules (didactic, intellectual, mobile, round dance, etc.). In some cases, in classes with such children, various types of games are organized throughout the entire class, taking into account the age of the children, their game interests, the place of the game in the daily routine, the place of the classes, the content of the previous and subsequent forms of work, seasonal conditions, the degree of physical and intellectual load on the pupils.
The reorientation of the educational process in a modern combat horting club to the development of the child's personality gives special importance to such forms of organizing the pupil's life as his independent activity and individual work with him.
Independent activity. Independent activity of pupils is organized in all age groups of the combat horting club in the afternoon. During educational work, its types with different content orientations are combined (health, sports, art, games, labor, research, etc.) and all athletes of this group are gradually involved in their participation. The content and level of independent activity of pupils depend on their experience in the sport of combat horting, the stock of knowledge, skills and abilities, the level of development of creative imagination, independence, initiative, organizational abilities, as well as on the available material base of the institution in which the club operates, and the quality of pedagogical leadership of the club. Organized implementation of this form of work is ensured by both direct and indirect guidance from the teacher.
Individual work with students. Individual work with young athletes as an independent organizational form is carried out with children of all age groups both during classes and in free time (during health and sports camps, casual after-school communication, walks, etc.) in the gym, other premises and in the fresh air. It is organized with the aim of activating passive pupils, additional classes with individual children (new ones, those who often miss classes due to illness and other reasons and who absorb the program material worse during the frontal work of the combat horting circle).
