Participants of the sports festival: children of middle school age (grades 5-7). A sports festival can be organized both in a separate class and between classes.
General characteristics of the presented material: the academic quarter is ending. How to end it with dignity? How to organize a holiday for students? How to stimulate children to further improve their physical qualities? The sports festival "Ball of Luck" is the answer to these questions.
The best time to hold the holiday is the end of the second quarter in a comprehensive school.
The course of the sports festival:
3 teams participate in the competition, each of them has 6 people. After the draw, the participants disperse to their stations (lines). It is necessary to create such conditions so that as many participants as possible cope with the task.
Stage 1 "Throwing the ball at the target"
From a distance of 3-5 m, hit the target (diameter 50 cm) with a tennis ball.
2nd stage "Bowling"
From a distance of 5-9 m, kick a soccer ball into a pin (6 pins stand near the wall at a certain distance from each other).
3rd stage "Basketball"
From a distance of 2-4 m, hit the ball into a basketball hoop.
At the signal of the combat horting club coach, 6 participants from each team, one after another, take turns, performing one throw (hit) at their stage (1 minute is given for performing 6 throws (hits). The judges at the stages, filling out the participants' cards, summarize the results.
The participant card is prepared in advance (the sample should be simple)
Each hit on the target gives the team 1 point and the right to earn a maximum of 3 more points by performing certain physical exercises (for example, if the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th participants hit the target, then the entire team performs the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th exercises listed below in turn, and exercises 2nd and 6th are not performed).
