The relationship between the general culture of a horting athlete and the level of his achievements

In recent years, attention has been intensified to the physical culture and healthy lifestyle of combat horting athletes, which is associated with the concern of specialists of the National Combat Horting Federation of Ukraine, the sports community, and society regarding the health of athletes and specialists who actively train in combat horting halls, the increase in morbidity during professional training, and the subsequent decrease in working capacity. It is necessary to clearly understand that there is no healthy lifestyle as a certain special form of life outside the lifestyle as a whole.

A healthy lifestyle reflects a generalized typical structure of forms of life of combat horting athletes and the level of their physical culture. In conditions of a healthy lifestyle, responsibility for health is formed in an athlete as part of general cultural development, which is manifested in the unity of style features of behavior, the ability to build oneself as a person in accordance with one's own ideas about a full-fledged life in spiritual, moral, and physical terms.

A healthy lifestyle largely depends on the value orientations of combat horting athletes as personally significant, but such that do not always coincide with the values developed by social consciousness. Thus, in the process of accumulating social experience by an individual, disharmony of cognitive (scientific and life knowledge), psychological (formation of intellectual, emotional, volitional structures), socio-psychological (social orientations, value system), functional (combat horting skills, abilities, habits, norms of behavior, activity, relationships) processes is possible.

Such disharmony can cause the formation of asocial qualities of the personality. Therefore, in a combat horting club it is necessary to ensure a conscious choice by the athlete of social values of a healthy lifestyle and to form on their basis a stable and individual system of value orientations, capable of ensuring self-regulation of the personality, motivation of its behavior and activity.

The health of a combat horting athlete is the first necessary condition for successful development in the sport, his life as an educated person, his education, work, well-being, creating a family and raising an athlete as a developed personality.

Teaching athletes to protect and strengthen their health is one of the most important tasks of the National Combat Horting Federation of Ukraine, which should become an attribute of any educational activity in an educational institution of any level and beyond. Health-preserving competence, as a key one, is formed at the interdisciplinary level using subject competencies, taking into account the specificity of the subjects and the cognitive abilities of athletes.

Health-preserving competence is formed through the study of subjects in the educational field of health and physical education and involves the mastery of the relevant competencies by students. Taking into account the goals and objectives, the content of the educational branch regarding the health and physical culture of the individual is determined along the following content lines:

The content basis of training combat horting athletes is made up of the following basic concepts: health, healthy lifestyle, safe behavior, health-preserving competence, health-preserving competences (life and special skills).

Health is considered as:

a state of general physical, psychological and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (World Health Organization - WHO);

the process of forming, preserving, strengthening, and restoring its physical, social, mental and spiritual components.

A healthy lifestyle is a well-established way of life of a person, the purpose of which is to form, preserve, strengthen and restore his health.

Safe behavior is the behavior of a person that does not threaten his life and health and the safety of other people.

Health-preserving competence is the ability of a combat horting athlete to apply health-preserving competences in a specific life or educational situation for the benefit of preserving, strengthening and forming health.

Health-preserving competencies (life and special) are a socially recognized level of knowledge, abilities, skills, and attitudes that promote health in all areas of human life.

The content of training for each age of combat horting athletes is structured according to the following sections:

1) human health;

2) the physical component of health;

3) the social component of health;

4) the mental and spiritual components of health.

The topic "Human Health" involves the formation of a holistic understanding of combat horting athletes about human health, safety, and development and their relationship with lifestyle and the environment.

The topic "Physical Component of Health" is aimed at studying factors that affect the physical well-being of an athlete engaged in combat horting.
The topic “Social Component of Health” is devoted to the study of factors that influence the social well-being of a person and the rules of safe behavior in the environment.

The topic “Mental and Spiritual Components of Health” contains information on factors that influence the emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of a combat horting athlete. Prevention of bad habits is considered in the context of the development of positive self-esteem, critical thinking skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

Thus, leading a healthy lifestyle depends on the general culture of the combat horting athlete himself. Combat horting teachers work with athletes in extracurricular time. We provide the main points of conducting such work.

Extracurricular, extracurricular and sports-mass work in an educational institution is carried out systematically, planned and accountable. In extracurricular time, mass physical education and sports events in combat horting are held in the educational institution. They provide for:

a) a deeper assimilation by combat horting athletes of the program material studied in training sessions;

b) fulfillment by lagging students of the normative requirements of the program for combat horting, physical education and state tests;

d) organization of systematic combat horting classes according to the interests of athletes;

e) holding mass sports competitions in combat horting.

The main goal of extracurricular physical education and sports work is to involve each student who is engaged in combat horting in regular classes in the sports section of the educational institution, independent daily performance of physical exercises in the fresh air. In modern conditions, a physical education teacher teaches an average of 200–250 students.

Daily physical education and mass work should be organized by all pedagogical means, and athletes should be taught to independently practice combat horting in the educational institution and at their place of residence. All forms of educational, training and physical education and health classes, which are carried out in the process of educational and extracurricular work, must meet the main requirement - to comprehensively promote the involvement of each athlete in daily independent classes in combat horting and general physical culture.

Involvement of students in hardening procedures. The health of combat horting athletes also depends to a large extent on the amount of his knowledge and practical skills in using the healing forces of nature (including cold) to strengthen health and prevent diseases. The conscious use of hardening procedures requires a certain level of physical culture from the athlete. It is formed in students throughout all years of study at an educational institution through explanation, persuasion, organization of their practical activities, in educational classes and in extracurricular time.

Teachers should constantly emphasize the great role of hardening in preventing diseases, strengthening the health of students engaged in combat horting, encouraging them to systematically use hardening procedures. Data from research by scientists and accumulated practical experience indicate that the effectiveness of such hardening procedures as wiping, dousing with water, taking a shower, water baths in combination with sun and air baths is very high.

Among the means of physical culture and health work in combat horting, hygienic conditions are of great importance. This includes a solid daily regimen, which is understood as a strictly composed routine of daily life, a rational distribution of work and rest time, sleep and nutrition. The exact implementation of the daily regimen instills in a person such valuable qualities as discipline, accuracy and organization. The athlete's daily regimen should include: morning gymnastics with a water procedure. The daily regimen also provides for a strict order and time for nutrition, rest and preparation for sleep.

Thus, from the above it follows that the formation of the habit of combat horting in athletes includes:

forming athletes of interest in combat horting and general developmental physical exercises;

arming them with knowledge of physical culture and the basics of health, physiology and human hygiene, as well as developing on their basis beliefs in the need to systematically engage in combat horting and physical exercises in the mode of educational and extracurricular time.
