Improving tactical thinking

The technique of performing a technique and the tactics of its use in changing situations of a combat horting fight depend not only on the quality of technical and tactical skill, but also on the vegetative, sensorimotor and intellectual functional qualities of combat horting athletes.

To improve the tactical thinking of a combat horting athlete, the following abilities are developed:

to quickly perceive, adequately realize and analyze competitive situations;

to quickly and accurately assess the situation and make decisions in accordance with the situation and level of preparedness;

to predict the opponent's actions;

to reflexively reflect one's actions in accordance with the goals of the competition and the task of a specific competitive situation.

Improving the speed of solving a tactical task is carried out mainly by improving the ability to automated search. It is important to develop the ability to spatially and temporally predict the situation before it begins to unfold.

The success of the tactical activity of a combat horting athlete depends on the level of development of abilities that determine the direction of tactical thinking. The mental basis of combat horting tactics is psychological manifestations of anticipatory brain functioning. This is the athlete's ability to predict and anticipate all events that occur in motor activity. Prediction is of great importance, since it is closely related to the prediction of the opponent's tactical and technical actions.

To predict means to look ahead mentally, to imagine a picture of future events, to catch in them the main, decisive thing, on which the outcome of the fight and the competition as a whole will largely depend. This phenomenon of the thinking and tactical ability of combat horting athletes has been studied and proven by the existence of a multi-level structure of cognitive processes. It is one of the components of the body's functional reserves, which reveal the work of psychological mechanisms that take an active part in making optimal tactical decisions, significantly increase the effectiveness of the competitive activity of combat horting athletes.

The fast-paced situations of a combat horting fight place special demands on the speed of processing information coming from outside, on the ability to evaluate constantly changing events, make adequate decisions and quickly implement them. All this requires high intellectual abilities, good training and high stability of all body systems.

Combat horting teaches you to think correctly. It develops the ability to make the only correct decision in an instant and apply it in practice. A combat horting fight is not only a competition in the strength of blows and throws, but also a clash of strategies, different styles of fighting. And often the success of a combat horting athlete depends on the correct choice of strategy.

Moving easily on the horting, striking with emphasis precisely when the opponent is least ready for this and immediately switching to a throw is a kind of “moment of truth” for a combat horting athlete. To keep oneself in good shape, to have a trained body, to develop not a separate group of muscles, but all groups in a complex – such is the task set by any athlete, for him it is the main principle. A skillful and quick-thinking combat horting athlete wins thanks to relaxed muscles, good movement, strength of mind and ability to concentrate.
A greyhound fight is a confrontation of strength, will and intellect. It is characterized by continuity in the alternation of a wide variety of combat movements. At the same time, the position of the body, determining the completion of one movement, is simultaneously the starting position for the next movement. Thus, in attacks with a series of blows at the end of each blow, the combat horting athlete takes the starting position for the next blow, throw or any action related to both attack and defense.

Having learned to think quickly on a greyhound, the athlete gets used to thinking the same way in everyday life. The presence of a variety of situations in a combat horting fight increases the athlete's decision-making time, that is, his latent reaction period increases, while the transience of situations requires their reduction. In addition, the high conflict that arises between rivals in most cases leads to distortions in the assessment of making the right decisions.

To reduce the time required to solve current tactical and technical tasks and increase the endurance of athletes, confounding factors arise that must be created during the training process. In this regard, increased requirements are imposed on the quality of mental decisions. They must be justified and adequate to the emerging situations in the fight, because their inaccurate analysis without taking into account the specific features of the upcoming episode of the fight will lead to an error in choosing the moment of attack.

With the systematic improvement of tactical and technical actions, the athlete of combat horting develops the ability to extrapolate the beginning of the opponent's attacking technique, predicting its direction, speed and direction of combination actions, and also improves the ability to detail and variable perception of the rhythm of the structural pattern of the technique and its spatial and temporal characteristics.

All these aspects of the motor activity of a combat horting athlete, synthesized into a specific tactical and technical complex of movements, are realized through his sensory and motor sensitivity, significantly transforming the power of his muscle tension, thereby significantly increasing the effectiveness of the performed technical action.
