Part –1.
1. The question: “Where do children come from?” – we no longer care, because everyone is familiar with the legend of the stork from early childhood.
3. The child’s knowledge of life continued, and later schoolchildren asked more serious questions: “Why do cats always have kittens, and hares have young?” Here you can’t do with one phrase, you had to tell something, explain something.
5. But the answers to them were different in different eras. Everything depended on the development of science. For example, the placenta – the organ that connects the mother’s body with the fetus’s body, was mysterious to ancient man. The placenta was depicted on the king’s banner. The umbilical cord – was placed in a shell and hung on a palm tree so that the boy would grow into a craftsman who could conquer the tallest trees.
7. Genetics – comes from the Latin “Denis” – I give birth, or “denus” – genus, which indicate that:
- genetics studies the heredity of the organism;
- studies and prevents the consequences of genetic defects in humans;
- indicates the role of heredity and environment in the formation of personality;
- studies the accumulation and transmission of information acquired in ontogenesis in generations.
And in general, we can say that genetics reveals the secret of life.
9. The current ecological situation in Ukraine can be characterized as a crisis. Environmental pollution has reached a level where it negatively affects human health.
(the level of pollution per 1 km2 of the country’s territory is 6.6 times higher than in the USA, 3.2 times higher than in the countries of the European Economic Community).
Environmental pollution with mutagens causes an increase in the number of affected genes, the genetic burden in the human population increases.
11. According to WHO experts, 1 child out of 100 newborns suffers from a severe hereditary disease due to damaged chromosomes. If 10 years ago such chromosomal mutations occurred exclusively in mature parents, with 5-6 births, today, for example, with Down syndrome, young women who give birth for the first time are born.
13. The highest appeal court of France recognized the right of a child not to be born. Now children born disabled have the right to compensation if their mothers are not informed about fetal malformations.
The obstetrics and gynecological service of the Kolomyia district sets itself the task of improving the work on the detection of congenital pathologies, timely warning of pregnant women so that children with congenital pathologies are not born. This is a reserve for reducing early prenatal mortality.
Part – II
15. But in order for a child to be born, a child who is desired in the family, it is important to create a healthy full-fledged family, in which mutual understanding, warm and sincere relationships, harmony, love that unites two people – a woman and a man – will prevail.
17. Unfortunately, in Ukraine, marriage statistics leave much to be desired. For example, the city registry office of Mykolaiv made an analysis of the birth rate for the past year: “A significant part of babies were born out of wedlock, in 316 cases paternity was established, 283 children were left without a father, 812 children were abandoned by their mothers”.

19. Well-being in a family is determined by the happy meeting of 2 people who will unite their destinies. In a happy family, there must be children - the continuers of the human race. In children, the happiness and well-being of the family.
21. Only through self-improvement and painstaking work on oneself can a person tame and pacify the dark lower ones, and develop the bright higher instincts.
23. The inner purity of a person gives him the opportunity to realize who should be by his side all his life, be his chosen one, and whether it is worth trusting him, creating a family with him, giving birth to and raising children in marriage.
Part - III
25. The birth of a child is the most sacred event in the life of every person, especially a woman. What a real miracle, a holy blessing of God - to have a child and give birth to a new life, new dreams, opportunities.
27. Scientists claim that a person's health, which is a prerequisite for happiness, is largely laid long before birth, namely at the moment of conception, or rather - the awareness of conception. Awareness of conception is a blessed moment of conception.
29. But how to call the existence of a small creature, which in scientific literature is completely unpoetically called first a zygote, then an embryo, embryo or fetus.
31. On the 20th day of pregnancy, the fetus's brain begins to form. On the 21st - the heart beats, on the 28th - the child's muscles and spine are formed, the arms, legs, eyes, ears are formed.
33. For example: he naps when the pregnant woman falls asleep and wakes up with her. When the mother is calm, in a good mood, the fetus also behaves calmly.
35. The area of peripatetic experiences was discovered by the American scientist - psychologist Stanislav Grof, who touched on the most dramatic stage of human existence - this is birth.
Part - IV
37. The greatest treasure of every country is children. In order to improve the demographic situation in the state, preserve the reproductive population, protect motherhood and childhood and strengthen the family, the national program “Reproductive Health 2001-05” was released.
39. However, the health of adolescents, young women and pregnant women is significantly deteriorating due to:
- early onset of sexual activity;
- change of partners;
- sexual activity during menstruation;
- inflammation of the internal genital organs;
- spread of sexually transmitted diseases;
- ignorance of the methods of the modern concept for the prevention of unwanted pregnancy.
All this is indicated by Boris Ventskovsky, Chief Obstetrician-Gynecologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.
41. The word “abortion” is inextricably linked with death, truth and lies. It excites our imagination extremely, arousing in it both protest and consent as the only way out. Abortion has been and will be a controversial issue. This method is the most dangerous for a woman’s health in preventing pregnancy. Unfortunately, it is very common in Ukraine.
43. In recent years, there has been a growing awareness among doctors that abortion is paperwork, the gravest sin that is atoned for throughout life. Realizing this, many doctors refuse to perform abortions. Hormonal drugs are safer.
45. In addition, many women after abortions have depression, mental disorders, not to mention bleeding, inflammatory processes in the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, ectopic pregnancy and, worst of all, infertility. In the future, such a woman will never be able to have children, which for many families becomes a real tragedy and one of the reasons for divorce. In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of infertile marriages, reaching 20%, approximately 1 million cases.
47. According to statistics, three out of four women give birth abnormally, and the number of premature and complicated births has also increased - premature babies are born. The reason for this may be:
- ignorance and frivolity of mothers;
- a slight deviation in the health of a pregnant woman (caries, tonsillitis, gynecological diseases, colds, intrauterine infections, stress, poor nutrition, extragenital pathologies).
49. Modern women must, in turn, do everything possible to improve their personal health, take it much more seriously. They must understand that it is a crime to put their own child in danger, depriving her of the right to be born healthy.
51. Colombian pediatrician Dr. Rey began searching for ways to help premature babies and their parents.
53. According to Dr. Rey’s idea, the mother nurses the premature baby herself. She constantly carries the baby on her chest. This skin-to-skin contact provides the baby with the necessary temperature, and the woman has no problems with lactation. The greatest value of the “kangaroo” effect is that the biological connection between mother and child is not interrupted, the mother gives her a piece of her biofield, and a calm psychological atmosphere is created that contributes to the rapid development of the child.
55. An equally important issue is natural breastfeeding of infants, which is considered a healthy beginning of a child’s life. But this matter is not only important for mothers and children, but also for the entire family and for society.
