The 4th World Horting Championship took place in Cyprus, featuring 263 athletes from 14 countries. Each national team was represented by its country's top martial arts athletes. Competitors ranged from older youth to adults, spanning the following age categories: youths, cadets, juniors, and adults.

Goals and objectives
The competitions are held in accordance with the calendar plan of sports events of the All-Ukrainian Horting Federation for 2019 with the aim of:
- development and popularization of the sport of horting in the world;
- improvement of the sports skills of the participants;
- development of sports and methodological ties between organizations;
- identification of the strongest horting athletes;
- strengthening sports friendship among the participants of the competitions.

Requirements for participants of the competition and conditions of their admission
Conditions determining the admission of organizations and athletes to the competition:
National teams of European countries representing any martial arts organizations that recognize the current International Rules of Horting Competitions are allowed to participate in the competition;
For countries in which several collective members of the IFC operate, the participation of teams in a correspondingly increased composition is allowed (the issue is considered separately during the Mandate Commission).
Each participant of the competition must present the following documents to the Mandate Commission:
- birth certificate, general civil or foreign passport;
- a legitimate document confirming the participant's sports and style qualifications (a numbered certificate for the degree of horting (rank), issued by an officially registered, legitimate organization, must
have the appropriate details, seals and signatures);
- an insurance contract (original insurance policy);
- a receipt from the participant of the competition.
On the day of the competition, participants must meet the following requirements: junior boys and girls 8 years old, junior boys and girls 10 years old, boys and girls 12 years old, cadets and cadets 14 years old, juniors and juniors 16 years old, men and women 18 years old.
Participants compete in sports uniforms and protective equipment in accordance with the "International Rules of Horting Competitions", Approved at a meeting of the Presidium of the World Horting Federation.
Competitions in the sections "Duel", "Squad"
The competitions are held according to the International Rules of Horting Competitions in the sections "Duel", "Squad" by weight categories.
Scheme of the duels:
The competitions are held according to the direct elimination method (Olympic system) - with the elimination of the losers after one defeat.
Participants in the competitions who lost the duel for entry into the finals take part in the duels for third place.

Younger boys and girls 8 - 9; 10 - 11 years old;
a) Boys - shin and foot lift protectors, groin protector, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet, sports small gloves with open fingers.
b) Girls - shin and foot lift protectors, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet, sports small gloves with open fingers.
Boys and girls 12 - 13 years old;
a) Boys - shin and foot lift protectors, groin protector, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet, sports small gloves with open fingers.
b) Girls - shin and foot lift protectors, chest protector, groin protector, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet, small sports gloves with open fingers.
Cadets and cadets 14-15 years old;
a) Cadets - groin protector, shin and foot lift protectors, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet /allowed with a closed chin/, mouth guard, fabric sports bandages for fist and wrist, 10-ounce gloves.
b) Cadets - shin and foot lift protectors, chest protector, groin protector, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet, small sports gloves with open fingers.
Juniors and juniors 16 - 17 years old;
a) Juniors - groin protector, shin and foot lift protectors, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet /allowed with a closed chin/, mouth guard, fabric sports bandages for the fist and wrist, 10-ounce gloves.
b) Juniors - shin and foot lift protectors, chest protector, groin protector, fabric knee joint fixator /at the request of the participant/, helmet, small sports gloves with open fingers.
Men and women 18 years and older;
a) Men - competition costume - dark blue horting shorts with a calligraphic "horting" emblem on the left leg and a dark blue or yellow T-shirt with a calligraphic "horting" emblem on the left side of the chest, groin protector, mouth guard, 10 oz gloves. Shin and foot protectors (stockings) are allowed starting from the second round of the competition with the permission of the head doctor of the competition.
b) Women - competition costume - horting (jacket and trousers) with a calligraphic "horting" emblem on the left side of the chest, chest protector (in the form of "cups") with an open stomach, worn under a dark blue T-shirt, shin and foot protectors (stockings), groin protector.
Official referee uniform: white long-sleeved shirt with the International Horting Federation emblem on the pocket, medium-sized dark blue bow tie, black trousers, black socks. Each side judge, when making a decision on the evaluation of an athlete's action, accompanies the hand gesture with a sound signal from his personal referee's whistle.

The World Horting Federation proudly announces the successful completion of the 4th World Horting Championship, which was held from May 6 to May 11, 2019, in the beautiful city of Nicosia, Republic of Cyprus. The championship became one of the most significant international sporting events in the history of Horting, bringing together athletes, coaches, officials, and supporters from numerous countries united by their dedication to the development of Horting as a modern combat sport and educational system.
For six days, Nicosia became the world capital of Horting. The championship was conducted in an atmosphere of friendship, sportsmanship, mutual respect, and fair competition. Athletes demonstrated exceptional technical mastery, courage, endurance, tactical intelligence, and unwavering determination to achieve victory.

The tournament gathered representatives of national federations, sports clubs, and training centers from Europe, Asia, and other regions of the world. The level of participation clearly demonstrated the growing international recognition of Horting and confirmed its status as one of the fastest-developing combat sports.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of international sports organizations, local authorities, distinguished guests, coaches, and veterans of martial arts. During the ceremony, special attention was paid to the educational mission of Horting, which combines physical development, patriotic education, moral values, discipline, and respect for cultural traditions.
Throughout the championship, spectators witnessed hundreds of exciting matches characterized by high technical standards and uncompromising competitive spirit. The athletes displayed excellent striking techniques, throws, grappling skills, submissions, tactical combinations, and exceptional physical conditioning. Every contest reflected the core philosophy of Horting: strength combined with honor, courage united with respect, and victory achieved through discipline and dedication.
Particular attention was attracted by the final bouts, where the strongest representatives of the participating countries competed for world titles. The audience enjoyed spectacular contests that demonstrated the effectiveness and diversity of Horting techniques both in standing combat and ground fighting.
In the Horting Forms division, participants presented highly technical performances that reflected the rich methodological and educational foundations of Horting. The demonstrations highlighted precision, coordination, balance, concentration, and mastery of movement.
The Demonstration Programs category showcased the creative potential of athletes and coaches. Teams presented choreographed performances combining martial techniques, acrobatics, self-defense applications, and elements of Horting philosophy. These presentations received enthusiastic support from spectators and international guests.
The national team of Ukraine delivered an outstanding performance at the championship, successfully confirming its leading position in the international Horting movement. Ukrainian athletes demonstrated excellent preparation and won numerous medals across different age and weight categories.
The World Horting Championship also served as an important international forum for coaches, referees, and sports administrators. During the event, working meetings and consultations were conducted regarding the further development of Horting, expansion of international cooperation, improvement of competition rules, educational programs, coaching standards, and youth development initiatives.
Representatives of participating countries emphasized the growing importance of Horting as an effective system of physical education, self-defense training, character development, and promotion of a healthy lifestyle among children, youth, and adults.
The successful organization of the championship was made possible through the joint efforts of the World Horting Federation, the national organizing committee, volunteers, coaches, referees, and numerous supporters of Horting from around the world. Their professionalism and dedication ensured the highest standards of competition management and athlete safety.
The Republic of Cyprus proved to be an excellent host country, offering participants warm hospitality, outstanding sports facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere. The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to all Cypriot partners and institutions whose support contributed to the success of the championship.
The completion of the 4th World Horting Championship marked another important milestone in the international development of Horting. The event strengthened friendships between nations, expanded opportunities for international cooperation, and inspired a new generation of athletes to pursue excellence in sport and life.

Awards
Athletes who took 1-3 places are awarded with diplomas of the World Horting Federation of the corresponding degrees and medals of the competition organizers. Athletes who are recognized by the decision of the competition judges as the best in work technique, the best in the indicator of the will to win are awarded with memorable prizes.
In the general team standings, the winning countries are determined, which are awarded with cups of the corresponding degrees.
Sponsors and other organizations may establish additional prizes.
