World Horting Federation – Mecklenburg County Branch

The World Horting Federation – Mecklenburg County Branch represents the World Horting Federation within Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, USA, and serves as an official regional organizational unit responsible for the development, promotion, and implementation of Horting as a Ukrainian-originated professional-applied martial art and sport.
The Branch operates as an authorized representative of the World Horting Federation in the region and supports the Federation’s mission through the organization, coordination, and promotion of educational, athletic, cultural, and community-based activities related to Horting.
The main areas of activity of the Mecklenburg County Branch include:
  • Development and promotion of Horting as a martial art and sport among children, youth, adults, athletes, coaches, and members of the local community;
  • Representation of the World Horting Federation at the regional level, including cooperation with sports organizations, educational institutions, community organizations, and other interested partners;
  • Organization and support of Horting training programs, sports clubs, seminars, workshops, demonstrations, and educational events aimed at improving physical fitness, self-discipline, leadership skills, and personal development;
  • Implementation of the Federation’s educational and methodological programs in the areas of physical education, martial arts training, sports pedagogy, health promotion, and character development;
  • Promotion of healthy lifestyles and physical activity through systematic sports participation, fitness development, recreational activities, and youth engagement programs;
  • Support for athletes and coaches through training opportunities, methodological guidance, participation in regional and international Horting events, and professional development initiatives;
  • Organization and participation in sporting events, tournaments, exhibitions, and community activities designed to increase public awareness of Horting and encourage active participation in martial arts and sports;
  • Promotion of ethical values of Horting, including respect, responsibility, discipline, perseverance, self-control, teamwork, and respect for cultural traditions;
  • Development of international and intercultural cooperation through the promotion of Horting as a sport that unites people through physical education, martial arts philosophy, and universal human values.
The Mecklenburg County Branch acts in accordance with the Charter, regulations, and strategic objectives of the World Horting Federation and contributes to the expansion of Horting programs throughout North Carolina and the United States.
