Eduard Yeromenko
Eduard Yeromenko - Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities of the USFSU, researcher, sports scientist, and founder of Horting, a Ukrainian-origin martial art and combat sport. He is the President of the World Horting Federation Inc. and a recognized specialist in the fields of physical education, sports training, combat sports methodology, professional-applied physical preparation, and health-oriented physical culture.
Dr. Yeromenko holds a PhD in Pedagogical Sciences (Physical Education and Sports, 2016). He previously served as Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities, Faculty of Training, Retraining and Advanced Qualification of Tax Police Officers, University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (State Tax University of Ukraine), where he conducted scientific, educational, and methodological activities in the areas of physical education, special functional training, sports medicine, and professional-applied physical preparation of students and cadets of law enforcement specialties.
His academic and professional achievements include the state honorary titles of Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class, and recognition as a leading expert in the development of combat sports and physical training systems. He holds the military rank of Major of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has completed more than 50 parachute jumps.
As the founder of Horting, Dr. Yeromenko developed scientific and methodological foundations for the formation, teaching, and development of this martial art as a comprehensive system of physical education, sports training, self-defense, and personal development. His research focuses on:
